I love how it lights up, I’m always working in low light or the dark and my eyes aren’t what they used to be so I just can’t tell you how much of a difference it makes. I also feel like the key symbols won’t/can’t wear out because they’re backlit. Typical keyboards have letter and words wear off over time, but I don’t see how that’s possible with this keyboard. I’ll give you the 1 thing I didn’t like about it as I began using it… The FUNCTION ROW of keys has no space above the NUMBERS or Number pad, etc. So it’s super easy to hit the wrong keys sometimes. I’ll often go to use the “home” key and end up hitting the key to switch between machines, or the biggest one is the “lock” key the farthest top right key over the number pad’s “minus/dash” key. I often go to hit the “minus/dash” key and end up locking my windows (having to sign in again). HOWEVER, using the Logitech software that is used to configure the keyboard I was able to just disable that lock key. I don’t need a KEY for that anyway. When I want to lock my Windows session (log out) without shutting down, I’ll just do it the normal way with my mouse (Start > Power > Lock). No big, been doing that forever anyway. Anyway, this keyboard is awesome. Especially, once you get used to it. Most times I get a new keyboard and have to get used to the key arrangements and different spacing anyway. Might as well do it with a great keyboard. 😊👍🏻 P.S. I have always been a Microsoft keyboard/mouse kinda guy. I didn’t think much of Logitech until I got the MX Master 2 Mouse, which is now also my favorite ever. This keyboard goes with that mouse it’s sold in bundles they’re of the same product set.”

Customer Review: “This keyboard is the best one I’ve ever used. I would have guessed it’s rating would be closer to 5 stars. The feel is very satisfying to me. It’s not super loud, and the tactile sensation of pressing the keys is about perfect for me. The size is perfect. The lighting is a plus. It has worked perfectly for me over the couple of months I’ve used it. I cleaned it recently by pulling out the keys, using a dust cleaning gel, cleaning each cap with a towel, and putting them back, and everything is as good as new. The bluetooth connectivity is consistent, and the battery lasts a decently long time – I would say a couple of days to a week (several hours a day of use) with lighting on medium or high, and it’s very easy to connect and use it while it charges. I have a feeling I will use this for a very long time. I also absolutely love how it came with Windows and Mac keycaps as I use both. They keycaps are pretty easy to pull off with the tool or even without it. It connects pretty easily to bluetooth, and I love that it is able to connect to 3 devices. On my Macbook, I was able to use Karabiner to reprogram the keys, and it has worked well. I reprogrammed the top-right keys to more useful shortcuts like opening specific apps, copy/paste, password for my account, and putting my mac to sleep. I discovered this through ChatGPT and YouTube and it is decent at generating the code to reprogram them. I only have a few wishes for this keyboard. Firstly, it is very unaesthetic for the previous, play/pause, and next buttons to not be placed together (see the F7 – F9 buttons in the pictures). They should have taken the extra steps to do so, or picked another design. Next, the top-right button for keyboard lighting is the only one that can’t be reprogrammed through software, and since it’s in the corner, I often press it on accident, which resets my lighting setting. I always had to switch through all the different light mode patterns for the keyboard, which I don’t really ever use, until going back to the one I prefer, which is just the standard always-on light, and there’s like 18 patterns so it always interrupted me. I ended up putting a spiraled paper clip inside the keycap so that it’s much harder to trigger. I wish the key was reprogrammable in the first place so I could give it a better use. Next, I wish the power button was in a better location and easier to press. It has a switch between 3 modes (on, off, cable mode), but I would prefer an easier mechanism. It takes effort to put it exactly in the middle to turn it off. Luckily I found that putting it on cable mode is equivalent to off as long as it’s not connected. Regardless, it would be nice to have just a button, especially on the right side since I am right-handed. But I do really like the switch for Mac and Windows, that works well. Next, the mic button near the top-right never really worked, and it is the hardest to reprogram because it seems to trigger a combination of keys instead of just a simple key. Lastly, the battery indicator LED light distracts me when it is on low battery. It starts to blink brightly until it gets connected, so I had to put a piece of putty over it.”

Customer Review: “I regularly use a very basic Logitech K270 as my work keyboard with a Windows laptop. I found I preferred the taller keys, the key travel, and the overall precision of a deeper traditional keyboard. But on my 2015 iMac, I still used the stock, flat Apple keyboard. I have considered another Logitech for a while, but after trying their pitiful collection of Mac keyboards, I never found one I liked. Reading some recent reviews of mechanical keyboards, I became intrigued. The Keychron keyboards seemed to be recommended on just about every list I came across — either as a good starter mechanical, or as an overall favorite. They may not be using the Cherry MX switches that more expensive keyboards use, but they are comparable. So I caught the K8 for Mac with Brown switches on sale and took a chance. I LOVE IT! It has the clack of my old IBM keyboard from “back in the day,” while also being Bluetooth or wired, backlit, and a dream to type on. Also, because it has a metal frame and some weight to it, it stays put. I am by no means a touch typist, but I can get going pretty fast once I am rolling, and the Brown switches on this K8 have just the right sensitivity to give me much more precision than the flat Mac keyboard. It was quick to pair, easy to adjust the settings (lighting and timeout), and coming from everyday work on a PC, having the Home, End, and Del keys is a definite bonus. Is this for everyone? Maybe not. It is not as loud as some mechanical keyboards, but it does make a lot more noise than the Apple keyboard. It also sits a LOT higher than the very flat Apple keyboard and it’s even a bit taller than my Logitech. Obviously, as a mechanical, it has a lot of key travel — 2mm — versus a typical Apple or laptop keyboard, so those used to those keyboards may have a bit of work getting used to typing. (The only laptop keyboard I have ever liked typing on is my old Surface Book, which has very solid keys and marvelous precision.) My one quibble is with the size of the lettering on the keys — or more precisely, the punctuation keys. As I said, I am not a touch typist, so now and then I really do have to hunt and peck. Having half-sized punctuation laid out on a key side-by-side makes it hard for my aging eyes to see well. Still, I’ve cranked out quite a few pages before writing this review, and I am getting use to it. If you have been thinking of a mechanical keyboard, give the K8 a try.”

Customer Review: “When I first got a gaming PC, I figured I didn’t really need a super expensive keyboard and that a cheap one that sounded “clicky” and had lights was fine enough. I also didn’t want to bother with charging a wireless keyboard. However, I started to hear from YouTube videos and TikToks about “creamy” and “thocky” keyboards. I immediately started to do research, because I was obsessed with the sound. This is one of those rare purchases that I cannot stop thinking about how happy it makes me. I have absolutely no qualms with it. Here’s what I love: The sound is excellent. Videos that I watched were a good indicator, but as other reviews have said, they really do not do the keyboard justice for how it actually sounds. The letters themselves are very creamy, while the function buttons (spacebar, shift, enter, backspace, etc.) have a much deeper “thocky” sound to them. If you’re on the fence, at least try it and return if it’s not for you. The functionality is incredible. There are a ton of lighting options that you can play with. You can mess around with them in the software on your PC. But because this keyboard has a small LCD screen, you can also change them directly on the keyboard itself. I have mine set to light up the entire keyboard cyan from whichever key I press, expanding out. Speaking of the LCD screen, you’re able to upload GIFS or images to the screen, which is a really cool feature. As far as connectivity, you have every imaginable option available to you. I have my gaming rig connected via the 2.4USB wireless adapter. You can also connect up to three devices via bluetooth. And of course you can opt to hardware in. I love the the keyboard has both a USB-A and USB-C port. I am a huge advocate for technology having USB-C as an option, as it is much more convenient, provide faster transfer times, and faster charging times. Speaking of charging, the battery life on this keyboard is excellent. I seem to get about a week’s worth of charge with extreme use daily. I know that the keyboard is hot swappable, meaning you can swap out the switches, which ultimately determine the sound of the keyboard, but personally, I haven’t messed with that, as I love the way it sounds now. Overall, this is an excellent keyboard. If you’re in the market for a wireless keyboard that sounds great, this is the best option out there! I typically don’t like spending a ton of money on stuff unless I am absolutely sure of its value, and let me put your mind at ease that this keyboard is worth so much more than what the price tag shows.”

Months ago, I saw a great review from Hipoyotec, but still didn’t pull the trigger. Eventually my keyboard addiction got the best of me, and I’m glad it did. Customer Review: “Bought this for my wife’s WFH setup. She fell in love with the Creamy Switch craze on TikTok and this was a reasonably priced keyboard that fit the bill. I found a cute sakura themed keycap set to replace these, but she said she’d have been happy with the blues and purples that came preinstalled. It looks great, feels and sounds fantastic, and does everything you’d want from a keyboard. She loves the size, specifically that it includes the number pad. Not enough decent keyboards do these days. People want minimalism in everything, but the functionality of a dedicated number pad is hard to beat. Connecting is super easy. We’re using the hardwired USB-C option, but I was able to use Bluetooth on my laptop at work while I was testing and installing the other keycaps prior to giving this as a birthday gift. Customer Review: “As someone who enjoys mechanical keyboards for work and isn’t as worried about gaming and rgb, this keyboard met and exceeded my expectations. My current daily driver is the Nuphy Air96 V2 and I was torn between this Lofree and upgrading to the Nuphy Air75 V3. Two reasons I ended up going with the Lofree…price and switches. I’ve never had Kalih switches before and I’ve heard that their low profiles are better than the Gateron that Nuphy uses. I’ve really been chasing that creamy, thocky sound and my Nuphy wisteria low-profile switches were too loud, almost clacky, and too light for this tactile-lover. Some thoughts so far:> I do like the size, much more travel-friendly than the 96, but may end up getting an external numpad.> Switching between 2.4 and wired is so fast, no lag like I experience with my Air96.> Switches. The Specter switches are deep, creamy and thocky and I love them. If you type hard then they will start to sound louder and more clacky so go easy. It’s even a nice sound with the larger keys. The spacebar isn’t all of sudden super loud or clicky compared to the other keys, for example.> If you need rgb and all the 400 different settings that go with that, this will be a disappointment. These are shine through keycaps with white light only and that’s more than enough for me. There are literally 3 settings, Off/On/Pulse.> The type on the kepcaps is very small but I like the gray contrast with the pink when the lights are off. I feel ike the keycaps themselves are smaller than my Nuphy which could take some getting used to or might be something someone with larger fingers can’t get around. I also wish the bumps on the F and J keys were a little more pronounced.> I love that more keyboard companies are realizing that Mac users are here too so I appreciate when there is an F row with the legends and the Mac keys like Command and Option. This keyboard doubles up Win and Mac on those secondary keys but if someone is switching between a work PC and personal macbook, that works really well.> I appreciate that the knob is useful and not taking up a ton of space on an already small keyboard. Being flush with the board also makes me less nervous to toss this in my bag since I don’t have to worry about the knob getting caught on anything or coming off altogether.> There is only one set of feet, compared to my 3 heights on my Air96 and because this is thinner than my Nuphy, this board was LOW when it was completely flat. I bought it for both home and in office use, I’ve yet to go in office but the sound is loud enough to be satisfying and quiet enough to not bother anyone (I hope). Light weight. I’ve had it all of two days. I’m using Bluetooth for my work laptop and wired connection on my pc. Bluetooth is seamless, no lag. Wired is good too. Great typing experience. I’m still getting used to all the F1~12 layout. Design wise I wish there was a difference in the key sizes or maybe even a spacing between the function keys and the regular numbers. You can turn the keyboard light on and off, it’s brightness is okay! I turn it off during the day because it’s easier to see. I was deliberating between buying the flow84 and flow2 84. Ended up on the lite by accident and I don’t think I’m going to return it anytime soon. I just wish they took this layout and made it with higher quality materials. The flow2 84 just has such bad layout design”

Customer Review: “I could not be happier with this purchase. I am a keyboard junkie. I have always been on the hunt for the right sound, feel and ease of use. This one checks all of the boxes. One thing in particular that I look for is how it feels when I type. I have long nails and my long nail girlies know, if the keys are too stiff, not the right height, etc, it can be very uncomfortable to type all day. I have an office job that requires me to be on the computer all day and this is the one. The keys are low profile, but have enough give that it feels satisfying to type. The clicks are there both audibly and when you press on the keys (you can feel it), but it is not one of those loud clackers that you see online that will drive your co-workers nuts. It has some weight to it where as it does not feel cheap, but is not overtly heavy. It is compact, so it doesn’t take a lot of room up on my desk which I love, and has a very sleek and modern look to it. It takes a minute to get used to the layout of the keys being all so close together, but now I have no issues. The only thing I have noticed is that the backspace key feels a bit different and more stiff than the rest of the keys, which are so reactive and that is the one thing that annoys me. You can choose to have the backlit light on or off. I appreciate that it does not have a ton of wacky colors, and instead is a soft white glow that is easy on the eyes and adds a nice look to an already sleek looking keyboard. I feel like the hunt for the perfect office keyboard is officially done! I think Loffree makes some great looking and quality keyboards, but the price always feels a bit too high. Seeing as this checks off all of my boxes, I’ll let it go and am still very happy with my purchase.”

I was SO nervous getting it because it is a fairly STEEP price to pay for a keyboard. If Apple were making mechanical keyboards, they would look and sound like this one. I got the Flamingo pink, and it’s beautiful. It’s genuinely a peachy pink, like a flamingo. Girly enough to satisfy the aesthetic I like without being over the top. No fingertip smudges or anything despite already dealing with heavy, daily use. It stays perfectly matte. Lighting 4.5/5 The shine through, the light coming through the keycaps (especially in low lighting) is so well-done. The lighting modes aren’t the best, but there are some amazing patterns and options that you can customize to fit you. I have it on the setting where it lights up then fades after pressing the key. Super luxe. This comes in handy for people in gloomy climates or low-light settings. No RGB, but the shine through keycaps definitely help. Layout 4.5/5 Having 100 keys is prime. It’s slim, lightweight; I can carry it from my office to my living room to my room when I want a change of scenery. Then, you can pack it into your backpack and carry it to a coffee shop, to a friend’s for a joint gaming session, etc. Connectivity 4.5/5 You can use the 2.4GHz USB or Bluetooth for wireless options. Then they give you a wire for you to use as well. The wire feels like the least thought-out part of this; it’s so flimsy. I also wish it were white or a matching pink for the flamingo version. It’s also not the easiest to insert. I ended up just using my own. Software -100/5 The major downside is that the software to make macros that comes with the keyboard is pretty glitchy. It’s practically useless. It always talks about needing an upgrade. Well, to upgrade you need to unplug the USB receiver and plug in the cable. This seems ridiculous. It also seems to need an upgrade often. The app version freezes up bad and will not let you do anything (like change the brightness or lighting pattern) until you upgrade. The online version is better. Terrible. A ball and chain on a stunning keyboard. But the keyboard is soo good. All the cons don’t even register much because it’s SO. NICE. I type ~90-100 wpm, and it feels like I finally have a keyboard that lets me fly. I included a video doing a ~50 wpm typing test and then also a ~90 wpm one, so you can see what it sounds like at different speeds. You can see how easy it is to fly on this thing at the higher speeds. It’s perfectly thocky/creamy for those who prefer that.”
