1Mii Y8+ Hybrid ANC Headphones: 100H Battery, Bluetooth 6.0, Hi-Res Au

The 1Mii Y8+ is a standout package that delivers incredible value without significant compromises. Its hybrid ANC system, fine-tuned through over 100,000 real-world tests, reduces ambient noise by up to 90%, making it perfect for droning airplane engines. The massive 100-hour battery means you can forget about charging for multiple long-haul trips.

Key Features That Stand Out

  • AI Voice Chat & Translation: Built-in AI supports voice chat, English practice, and real-time translation across 103 languages—a unique feature for international travelers.
  • Hybrid ANC: Four-microphone system effectively cancels a wide range of low-frequency noises like plane engines.

It’s a true all-rounder that excels in the core areas that matter most for travel—blocking noise and sounding great—while offering innovative extras that frequent flyers will genuinely find useful.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I just received these tonight, 2/11/2026. Went to the Gym which is an extremely loud environment. These NC Headphones did a very good job of canceling out most of the noise. Noise canceling is even better with my Glasses off as the bows of the glasses cause a noise leak as the earpads don’t seal. The foam in the earpads are super soft. Sound quality is pleasing and quite musical. They are comfortable to wear and seem to be nicely engineered. I loaded the APP and there are lots of pre-configured choices. I like the “Rock” setting but they sound phenomenal out-of-box. Overall, these are the best inexpensive pair of Headphones I have ever experienced in the economy line. I sent 4 others back that just weren’t good. I’m giving these a “5” based on the overall quality for the money. I recommend these for music which is the hardest to reproduce. Work very well for phone calls.

Customer Review: I am really enjoying these headphones, the battery life is long, and the listening modes are a revelation— I didn’t know how much I would really enjoy the transparent listening feature, something that has been needed in headphones for a long time. Normal mode is just like every other headphone listening experience, but when you switch to transparent, you can hear more of the world around you, now I can listen to records or audiobooks when I’m doing regular activities like grocery shopping and I’m less isolated from my environment. Plus with the Bluetooth controls, I can pause to communicate when I need to or turn down the feed temporarily. If you want a good demonstration of the difference in the listening modes, just put them in when you do something loud like running a bath— you can imagine what normal sounds like, but transparent mode means you can clearly hear the running water, and noise cancelling mode means you can nearly “switch it off” so you can hear the audio much more clearly. I own three pairs of these now, two for dedicated pairing sets for my work computers, and one in my backpack for traveling or running around town. They are comfortable for long listening sessions, have a sleek design, but almost earmuff quality to them that has made them very nice to have during the single digit degree winter months.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Great product, easy pairing, comfortable and noise cancelling excellent. Cable option great, quality of cables goidI flew for business 10x to 20x times a year for 45 years and wish I had bought pair of these years ago.You don’t get the noise fatigue when flying and do not get as tired on long flights!

Customer Review: Exactly what I hoped for and received. Used them for a European trip. Was great for flight and trip. The wired connections worked smoothly with our jet’s seat connections. Only concern was the battery life while using the sound canceling and music. Seems like it drained the battery much quicker than expected. Works great when mowing and using noisy equipment.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I recently purchased the Bose QuietComfort headphones and they are exceptional. They arrived with a high quality protective case, which was a great first impression. The setup and connectivity process was simple and seamless. Downloading the Bose app and pairing the headphones took only a few minutes. Everything worked exactly as expected, which is the level of quality I associate with Bose products. The sound quality is far superior to anything I currently own. I use them both wirelessly with my phone and wired to my computer, and the audio clarity in both setups is outstanding. Music sounds rich and balanced, audiobooks are crisp, and dialogue in videos is incredibly clear.Comfort is another major strength. The size and style are perfect! I can wear these for extended periods without discomfort. The noise canceling is extremely effective, especially in environments with a lot of background noise. For anyone who can feel overwhelmed by constant sound, these make a noticeable difference. With the newer version recently released, these are currently priced at nearly half of what they were before, which makes them an even better value. For music, audiobooks, YouTube, or streaming on your phone, they are well worth the investment. There is honestly nothing about these headphones that I do not like. I would absolutely recommend them.

Customer Review: The photos on this review are of the headphones after a year of use. I think they’re still in great shape.I work in a loud machine shop. I have worn these 40 hours+ a week every week for the past year, and they are without a doubt the best option for quality sound, and long term listening. I had a pair of Sony XM5s before this. Not only did those get uncomfortable after about 5 hours, they also did not last long and broke after a couple of months. These Bose headphones are as perfect of a pair of headphones you can get these days. Battery life is great, they’re lightweight and fit well, so they stay comfortable for 10 hours of use during my shifts, and they’re durable enough to still be in great shape after the past year. Volume and noise cancelling control on the ear is convenient. BT range is great. I can walk all the way to the other end of the shop (100ft+) without losing connection.Yes, these are expensive, but they are the same, if not cheaper than others and last much longer.

5. ISOtunes LINK Bluetooth Earmuff Headphones with 25 NRR OSHA Approval for Work, Mowing, Construction Noise Protection

ISOtunes LINK Bluetooth Earmuff Headphones with 25 NRR OSHA Approval f

The ISOtunes LINK is not your typical consumer headphone; it’s a certified hearing protection device (25 NRR, OSHA Approved) that also happens to play music beautifully. Customer Reviews

Customer Review: This headset was easy to pair, offers excellent sound quality, is lightweight enough to travel with, while offering a quality noise blocker. I bought a second pair as backup just in case. There are a few options to block noise, listen to music, or play white noise. And they hold a charge well. Impressive product for the price!

Customer Review: Been using this for awhile and it helps cut the noise of computer fan noise pretty well. It also has a mode to make the outside noise louder which can be jolting. I have been using it for a few months and it’s an 8 out of 10 compared to the higher dollar headphones but for the price it’s perfect. Comfort is good, and has lasted awhile, so seems to be durable.

It’s a testament to the competitive market that two nearly identical products exist, giving you more buying options.

1Mii AI E700 Hybrid ANC Headphones: AI Translation, Custom EQ, LDAC Au

The 1Mii AI E700 is the more premium offering from 1Mii, building on the Y8+ with a focus on audiophile-grade wireless codec support (aptX HD, LDAC) and ultra-low latency. It features the same innovative AI translation and voice chat system but pairs it with a Qualcomm chipset for superior sound processing. The ANC is effective, and the inclusion of aptX Low Latency makes it a fantastic choice for watching movies or gaming without lip-sync issues, a common Bluetooth problem.

Key Features That Stand Out

  • 1Mii AI Features: Voice chat, translation, and English practice across 103 languages.
  • Custom EQ & App: Advanced sound tuning via the dedicated app.
  • Hybrid ANC: Four-microphone system for effective noise cancellation.
  • Wired Mode: Includes a 3.5mm/6.35mm cable for high-quality, zero-latency listening.

Why We Recommend It

We recommend the 1Mii AI E700 for the discerning audiophile and frequent international traveler who wants the absolute best wireless sound quality and also values the unique AI translation features. The support for multiple high-bitrate codecs, especially aptX Low Latency, makes it uniquely suited for watching films on a plane without any audio delay, a common frustration with standard Bluetooth headphones.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: This is my initial review.I bought these because they support the aptX HD codec. So, let’s see how they sound.Connected them to my Samsung Galaxy, which I use for all my audio. It connected at aptX HD. Much better then the other phones I have tried.Connected them to the BT transmitter I have on my computer. Again, at aptx HD, better then the others. But to access the EQ function, you need to download the app. OK.It got stuck at “CONNECT” on my Samsung. OK, I deleted the connection on my phone, then clicked “CONNECT” on the app.It glitched for a millisecond, displayed LDAC, connected, sputtered for a second, and then…WOW! The sound was crystal clear, full audio spectrum, deep bass and clear mids and highs. If you’re not sure what i mean by “aptX” or “LDAC”, they are Bluetooth “codecs”. aptX is lower high fidelity, aptX HD is higher CD quality, and LDAC is lossless high fidelity, licensed by Sony. You need to find what your phone or other sound source can handle. The audio engineers at Samsung really did their homework. These headphones were more than acceptable at the aptX levels, but totally blew me away at LDAC.I also appreciated the audio levels were fairly flat out of the box. A slight bit bass heavy, but I like it that way. But the mids and highs were nice and smooth, not blaringly crass like others I have tried. The cushions are also large enough for my elephant ears, and are very comfortable for long listening times.I haven’t used the volume controls. They are generally clumsy on these phones, and instead of altering the volume you usually wind up skipping forward or back. I use the app I’m using to control volume. They do have Active Noise Cancelling, but I find it dims the audio quality, and for me, the cushions fit tight enough to block outside noises. It does work well, but I don’t think you’ll need it.For wired headphones my go to is Koss Porta-Pros. These match them, albeit $20 more. They also stay connected a few feet further that the others I’ve tried.Overall, I’m more than happy. I was considering other famous “brand name” phones, and I’ve had their wired versions in the past, but they lag in the codecs they support unless you pay a hundred more, or even more. These come very close to the audio quality of their wired versions that cost considerably more.I seek the highest audio quality for what I can afford. These surpassed my expectations.

Customer Review: Very happy with these, good sound, good blue tooth capability and comfortable with glasses on

Complete Buying Guide for Best Noise Cancelling Headphones For Airplane

Essential Factors We Consider

When choosing headphones for air travel, noise cancellation (ANC) effectiveness is the top priority. Look for hybrid ANC systems with multiple microphones, as they are best at cancelling the low-frequency drone of jet engines. Comfort is critical—you’ll wear these for hours. Look for plush, well-padded earcups and an adjustable headband that doesn’t create pressure points. Battery life must cover your longest flight plus buffer; 20+ hours is the safe minimum. Sound quality should be balanced and clear, not overly bass-heavy, to avoid listening fatigue. Finally, connectivity options matter: a 3.5mm audio jack is a lifesaver for older in-flight entertainment systems, and Bluetooth codec support (like LDAC or aptX) affects wireless sound quality.

Budget Planning

You don’t need to spend a fortune for great travel headphones. The $50-$150 range offers fantastic value with models like the 1Mii Y8+, TAGRY, and YMOO, which feature long batteries, decent ANC, and good sound. Stepping up to the $200-$350 range gets you industry-leading ANC from Bose or Sony, superior comfort, and premium build quality. Consider your travel frequency: if you fly weekly, the investment in a premium pair like the Bose QuietComfort pays off in durability and consistent performance. For occasional flyers, a budget-to-mid-range model is perfectly sufficient.

Final Thoughts

The “best” headphones are the ones that best match your specific needs and budget. For most travelers, the 1Mii Y8+ offers the most features and performance for the money. If raw battery life is your top concern, the TAGRY or YMOO with 100-hour batteries are unbeatable. For those who prioritize legendary comfort and brand trust above all, the Bose QuietComfort remains a top-tier choice. And for travelers with extreme noise sensitivity or children with auditory needs, specialized protection like the ISOtunes LINK or Amylove bulk pack is the correct tool. Prioritize comfort and ANC effectiveness, and you’ll transform your travel experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do noise cancelling headphones work on airplanes?

A: Absolutely. ANC is exceptionally effective against the constant, low-frequency rumble of jet engines, which is the primary source of noise fatigue on flights. They also help reduce cabin chatter and crying babies. However, they are less effective at cancelling sudden, sharp noises like a nearby shout or a clattering tray.

Q: Are noise cancelling headphones safe for flying?

A: Yes, they are perfectly safe. In fact, they can make flying safer by reducing listening fatigue and stress, helping you rest better. For takeoff and landing, when you need to be aware of announcements, you can either pause the audio, use an “Ambient/Transparency” mode if your headphones have one, or simply remove one earcup.

Q: What’s more important for travel: battery life or noise cancellation?

A: For most travelers, noise cancellation effectiveness is the primary factor because that’s the core reason for buying them. However, a good battery life (20+ hours) is essential to ensure the ANC works for your entire journey and potential delays. A balance is key: prioritize strong ANC, but don’t sacrifice so much battery that you’re anxious about charging.

Q: Should I get headphones with a 3.5mm jack?

A: It’s highly recommended. Many older aircraft seatback screens still use a 3.5mm AUX input. Having a wired option means you can watch the in-flight movie without any Bluetooth connectivity issues or battery drain. It’s a crucial backup feature for any travel headphone.

Q: Can I use these headphones for anything besides travel?

A: Definitely. The best travel headphones are simply great all-around headphones. They are perfect for daily commuting, office work (to block out chatter), studying in noisy cafes, mowing the lawn, or relaxing at home. Their comfort and noise isolation make them versatile for any noisy environment.
