I usually am up 2 to 3 hours prior to my wife. The 13th I paired these with the Dish 3 Hopper.Most days since, I used them an hour or two to watch recordings of shows. Today is February 25th & I got the 1st notice of low power. I have put them back on the charger for 1st time since the original arrival charge. I rate these 5 Stars for living up to time between charges. Note, using several hours at a time, versus 1 or 2 may increase rate of discharge.Performance listening to music is also excellent. I was also pleased with quality on listening to YouTube Music in 8D & greater tunes. I lost a lot of hearing in left ear in Vietnam. I swear in those songs, my left ear appears to be working again. Again, 5 Stars for audio performance for Music & TV Shows/Movies.I find these headphones great for comfort & they fit over my ears fine. However, one having larger ears than I may find a tighter fit. Other reviewers have noted this. For me, 5 Stars for comfort!Only nit I’d pick, is this model does not support showing remaining power level in the App. However, headphones do have a verbal low power warning. I received this today with about 40 minutes left in a TV recording. I was able to finish watching it with a couple more warning. I turned headphones off at end & put them on the charger. Despite App not showing power left, the verbal warning is sufficient. I would like to see JBL indicate in specifications that this model does not support sending App Power Level Remaining. Still, would rate 5 Stars overall with this one caveat.”

Customer Review: “I replaced a set if Beats Studio 3’s with the U5s. I wore the Beats to the gym about 3 days a week and they only lasted about 8 months. Loved the Beats’ sound, but apparently they can’t handle the sweat. Honestly, I’d never heard of the Treblab brand before. But I wanted something more moisture resistant and had a comparable sound (and at a cheaper price, if possible). I read the reviews and decided to try them. So far, I’m very pleased with the U5s. As other reviewers noted, they are very comfortable and fit easily over big ears! Better than the Beats, which were tight. The sound quality is similar, perhaps a bit less bassy than the Beats, but still powerful. I found that an add-on equalizer app can adjust all the frequencies to your tastes. I also like the noise cancellation button on the headphones. Beats controlled it through their app — which was a bit of a hassle. The Transparency mode is a feature that I like — also controllable on the headset. Setup and Bluetooth connectivity was a breeze. My phone recognized and paired with them easily. Finally, the price was much less expensive than the Beats.Time will tell how these hold up at the gym — but I really like them! Honestly, I can say I’m glad I took a chance on this brand. One other point: when I tried to warranty register the Beats, i was told the serial number was not valid — and they would not warranty or register them. It took an hour on the phone with the Apple Support team (Yes, Apple warranties Beats) before they finally said my Beats were an authentic Apple product. But they failed to register them. My experience with registering the U5s was sooo easy. Just an email with the serial number and the order number from Amazon and they were registered!!Hope this helps with your selection of headphones. There are a lot out there to choose from. Glad I purchased the U5s.I’m writing this update 6 weeks after I purchased these headphones. I’ve change my rating to a ‘1’ because they have stopped working. I have been wearing them to the gym about 3 times per week. So over the past 6 weeks, I’ve used them less than 25 times. Last week, they simply stopped working in the middle of my workout. No big deal, I thought. Perhaps the battery needed recharging (funny that I didn’t get some kind of low-battery warning, but, oh well). I charged them for several hours and the red charging lite went off — so I assumed they were fully recharged. Went to the gym today and they shut down after about a minute. Retried to connect them and they wouldn’t even turn on. When I got home, I tried to recharge them (again), but that didn’t work either. So — I contacted Amazon and they agreed to a refund even tho it was past the 30 day return window. I’m now looking for another set of headphones and they won’t be Treblab or Beats.Not sure what happened, but I can’t recommend these. They were great while they lasted. Perhaps they are not as sweat/water resistant as they claim. Or, maybe the battery was bad. Very disappointed in them.Final UPDATE — 12 Weeks LaterThe support team from Treblab unexpectedly reached out to me this week and provided me a replacement pair of U5s! I did not ask for these — it was their customer service team that took the initiative based on my honest review of their product. Because of that, I’ve changed my rating back to 5 Stars. Their support is exceptional! And I really liked the headphones — they just didn’t hold up for sweaty workouts. I’ve talked with others who have had similar experiences with other brands of over-the-ear headphones. The just don’t seem to like the moisture. So, my advice: buy the U5’s for using anywhere but at the gym. Thanks, Treblab! I’m a fan for life.”

Customer Review: “I wear over the ear headphones basically every waking moment, so comfort is very important to me. This set definitely fits that bill, and I can wear them comfortably for 12 hours straight or more.The battery is quite good, and even wearing them all day, every day, it takes a couple days to drain it.I’m no audiophile, but I think the sound quality is good. The dual, two device connection is also seamless. All you have to do is stop the audio on one device and start it on the other. It’s that simple.There is also a large button in the center of the right earphone that switches the audio mode from Silence, Passthrough, and nothing. I use the passthrough mode frequently to make sure I can hear my wife speaking, etc., and it works quite well.With all that being said, I do have one, small complaint. There are an additional three buttons on the side of the right headphone; a volume up and a volume down, and a button in the center for answering calls/pausing media, etc. The center button is almost indistinguishable by feel from the other two, so it’s hard to just reach up and use it without accidentally hitting the others first. I really wish it was located separately, slightly raised, or something similar so it’d be easier to find quickly.Overall though, they’re quite good daily drivers, and I can definitely recommend them.”

But since using these headphones to fly, I have eliminated a lot of tinnitus and noise; it both entertains me and helps me sleep on the plane. Customer Review: “found a deal so decided to splurge a little out of my typical <$40 range. first thing was box felt empty, they are so incredibly lightweight my little spectrum/migraine sensitive head was so happy, super duper plus! second, they actually comfortably fit my small adult head (I wear child size hats,) amazing because that is rarely the case and the number one reason for all my other returns! connected to bluetooth easy, prompted for app download, easy to follow set-up prompts for this old non tech savvy gal. NC seems decent enough but not great, it's an important feature to me but we'll see. I didn't custom set anything yet and sound was really good for my typical goth/techno/EDM. it also prompted to a 360 sound app- omg that was some crazy amazing quality but not venturing there at this time- but obviously these headphones have some quality to them sound wise. I usually have no issue with buying returns, and these were ok but definitely not mint, nor in a box, nor came with even the correct charger which was all that was included, and took 2 months to arrive (late) from the same coast I'm located- I'm least happy with the wait, seriously why?! the surprise was they were blue- I was settling for black because of the deal, and ended up with what I preferred! so if they last all-in-all twas probably worth the major discount and wait, if they don't then I'd probably still search them out again because it's taken a literal year and 24 pairs of exhausting headphone trials and returns to find something that actually fits and is lightweight and comfortable to boot~ WOOWOO! The connectivity was very easy and fast, buttons and switches are very easy and straight forward, and the product comes with minimal-but enough instruction manual.The headphones are comfortable and I had it on (one of them) for a few hours without causing any pain or sensitivity in my ear. I have worn these 40 hours+ a week every week for the past year, and they are without a doubt the best option for quality sound, and long term listening. I had a pair of Sony XM5s before this.
