Removal of the water cooling kit was a bit harder but installing the thermalright assassin as easy and the machine was maintaing between 40 to 60 celcius without the fan noise is pretty low so it serve it job. has been on the setup for a few months and so far no issues yet.

Customer Review: I like this product. Here’s my day 1 experience…First you need to be ok with potentially removing the mother board, clearing thermal paste and reapplying thermal paste. If that is too much for you then find another solution!My stock AMD fan was driving me CRAZY! It was so loud that I didn’t want to use the system for more time than necessary. I was not sure which fan was making all the noise but with a tooth pick narrowed it to the CPU fan.At that point I looked for a solution and here’s my experience:Good:+ Price to me was fair and Amazon arrived the same day!+ Very Quiet (compared to my stock fan)+ Keeping my cpu between 38 – 60C+ Comes with thermal paste!+ fits Intel/AMD (mine is AMD)+ able to add a second fan but not included+ directions with basic stepsNot as good:- Installation took me about 90 minutes (I don’t do this daily… so I am a bit slow)- If you’re reapplying thermal paste you need 99% alcohol to clean the old paste (not included)- Installation required removing my system board- not a huge deal but takes time (case didn’t allow access to under the system board) So this could be because I have an older case. Be ready.- If you have a small case it may not fit… check the case size, it’s tall. Mine is full size Lian-Li and fit nicely.- second fan not included but can be added.- second fan may be tight against the memory on your system board.- split cable to power the first fan and add a second fan made my cpu fan speed unreadable. I added it so that the cable would be there for a future second fan.All in all, I like this solution. It’s very quiet, inexpensive and working nicely.Happy Computing!

Customer Review: A fantastic cooler for affordable price. In recent years there has been a lot of competition in the Dual Tower air cooler field and it’s just another good option in the sea of others. At the time this review this cooler is $45 which puts into the realm of other budget dual tower coolers and in comparison to my two other dual tower coolers the thermals are within a few degrees at least while using it on my Ryzen 7 3700x. The two other cooler is I’m comparing it to are the be quiet Dark Rock 4 and the thermaltake Peerless assassin and after running cinebench R23 for 10 minutes my CPU hit a maximum of 68°C, which is within a few degrees of the other two coolers. It was able to achieve this using only one of the fans in the middle configuration and will being whisper quiet due to my their conservative fan curves on the system. So the performance is fantastic, but one thing that’s really surprised me was the ease of installation. These dual Tower coolers can be very unruly and both Peerless Assassin and the dark Rock 4 give me a lot more trouble when mounting compared to this cooler. After installing the mounting hardware it took me no time at all to latch both screws in place without having to put excessive force onto the cooler itself and because there’s such a large space in between the two towers I had no problem getting in there with a regular screwdriver once again unlike the others. The only downside of this design is that a slightly bigger than the other two, but when you’re into realm of these large coolers that little bit isn’t really going to matter. For $45 you get a fantastic quiet and efficient dual tower cooler and I’ve seen it go even a bit lower than that so you can get on sale I highly recommend it as long as it can fit in your case.

Customer Review: If you want air cooling you cannot go wrong with this choice. It does a fantastic job of cooling at a great price. I wasn’t confident in my thermal paste job but since you can see the temp right there on the display it’s great for peace of mind.It also looks awesome. There are a bunch of color options for both the temperature readout and the fan RGB.The one downside is that I have not been able to find software that operates the temperature readout in Linux. It works just fine in Windows. If you are running Linux alone, there’s a slightly cheaper version that doesn’t show the temperatures that may be for you.I’m very happy with it and absolutely would buy it again.

Customer Review: This twin fan air cooler with LED display has been an excellent addition to my PC. For reference, I’m running an AMD Ryzen 9 7950 X3D, and RTX 5080 (OC), and 64 GB of DDR5. In my previous XL ATX Tower, my CPU ran at a pretty constant 58° to 60°C with an AIO liquid cooler from Cooler Master. I purchased a new tower with the same size footprint as the last one, and installed this air cooler instead of the AIO. Running Heaven’s Mark by Unigine at max everything for an hour, My CPU temperature NEVER got above 52°C!!!I’m a videographer and I have a professional sound meter for checking decibel levels on set. It recorded 52 dB at the PC tower with the fans at “TURBO” speeds (about 3,200 rpm).If you’re building a new PC, or just looking for a fantastic air cooling option, you would be hard pressed to beat this performance or value for money. Customer Review: Performance is superb. Switched out my “mushroom” style stock cooler on my 12th gen i7. Idle temps dropped from 50c to 39-40c. Under 100% load it reaches about 52c, which is fantastic compared to the stock cooler that was giving temps of over 70c under full load. Fan is whisper quiet, perfect fit for an lga 1700 CPU, installation is easy if you already have a backplate, otherwise you have to take out your whole motherboard to attach it to the rear. Looks great in the case. Took me about 15 mins to install ( had to remove a proprietary backplate to install, overall pretty easy ). For the cost, its a great buy.

Make sure it fits in your case.The mounting system is secure and makes good contact with the CPU die. The included thermal compound is good enough to not require another purchase as well. My issue with the mounting bracket was that it required more force than I anticipated to align the screws and I had to remount the cooler to ensure even pressure because I had missed that one screw was not threaded into the bracket. – perhaps it could have used slightly taller standoffs.Otherwise installation was easy and the fan mount looks nicer than clips would for this styling. RGB is bright and the selection of colors and modes are fun. I appreciate that I can pick a plain white light or just leave it off.In terms of performance, I see ~20C difference above ambient from my stock cooler (wraith stealth) and the noise is potentially blower under load depending on your fan curve. Under heavy load with a slight OC my temps are stable below 75C and idle around 35C.The main downside to look out for is it’s height from the GPU. My case is wide and accommodates the cooler, but if you have a narrow case I would look for another solution.

Customer Review: Does a great job of “wicking” heat away compared to OEM fan/heat sink. Overkill for basic word processing or spreadsheet use. Installed in conjunction with a new build for my family desktop, any Intel “K” processors need a bigger fan, so I got this one, CPU core temperature is lower than I was expecting, nothing wrong with overkill though, as you never know when the CPU load will need more cooling capacity.
