Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Perfect for my recent long flight, cancelled the loud noise from the jet engine and I enjoyed watching my show with clear and crisp sound. For the price this is a great buy. Works wired or wireless but the battery charge holds for a long time and I didn’t even recharge for 4 days before my next flight. Comfortable and did not hurt my ears. I wouldn’t waste my money on overpriced ear phones. I have airpods but I get scared of dropping it in planes or when I am jogging.

Customer Review: At this time the headphones are working very well Good sound Good fit Easy to useI do not use any functions other than listening to my phone or other Bluetooth devices I have not used the jack nor have used the headphones for phone calls—-and probably never willThe selection to use the ANC option is definitely a good point It can block noise yer still allow me to know what is happening around me The clarity is very good and important to meBattery life good and the notification lights and announcements are a definite plusThis is my second pair One for work and one for home And will purchase another for a giftHopefully the longevity is good as well

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I just received these tonight, 2/11/2026. Went to the Gym which is an extremely loud environment. These NC Headphones did a very good job of canceling out most of the noise. Noise canceling is even better with my Glasses off as the bows of the glasses cause a noise leak as the earpads don’t seal. The foam in the earpads are super soft. Sound quality is pleasing and quite musical. They are comfortable to wear and seem to be nicely engineered. I loaded the APP and there are lots of pre-configured choices. I like the “Rock” setting but they sound phenomenal out-of-box. Overall, these are the best inexpensive pair of Headphones I have ever experienced in the economy line. I sent 4 others back that just weren’t good. I’m giving these a “5” based on the overall quality for the money. I recommend these for music which is the hardest to reproduce. Work very well for phone calls.

Customer Review: I am really enjoying these headphones, the battery life is long, and the listening modes are a revelation— I didn’t know how much I would really enjoy the transparent listening feature, something that has been needed in headphones for a long time. Normal mode is just like every other headphone listening experience, but when you switch to transparent, you can hear more of the world around you, now I can listen to records or audiobooks when I’m doing regular activities like grocery shopping and I’m less isolated from my environment. Plus with the Bluetooth controls, I can pause to communicate when I need to or turn down the feed temporarily. If you want a good demonstration of the difference in the listening modes, just put them in when you do something loud like running a bath— you can imagine what normal sounds like, but transparent mode means you can clearly hear the running water, and noise cancelling mode means you can nearly “switch it off” so you can hear the audio much more clearly. I own three pairs of these now, two for dedicated pairing sets for my work computers, and one in my backpack for traveling or running around town. They are comfortable for long listening sessions, have a sleek design, but almost earmuff quality to them that has made them very nice to have during the single digit degree winter months.

4. Premium Classroom Headphone with Microphone 5 Pack

Premium Classroom Headphones with Microphone (5 Pack): Wired Earphones

This 5-pack of wired classroom headphones is the ultimate value for schools, libraries, and large families. They’re not wireless ANC in the traditional sense, but they use passive noise isolation from their closed-back design and soft ear pads to muffle ambient sound. The built-in microphone is perfect for online learning and video calls. For environments where you need multiple durable, functional headsets at an unbeatable per-unit cost, this is the clear winner.

Key Features That Stand Out

  • 5-Piece Bulk Value: Incredibly low cost per headset for group settings.
  • Built-in Microphone: Clear audio for calls, Zoom meetings, and language learning.
  • Adjustable & Comfortable: Swivel ear pads and adjustable headband fit all ages.
  • Durable Construction: Built to withstand the rigors of classroom use.
  • Passive Noise Isolation: Soft cushions block a surprising amount of ambient sound.

We recommend this pack because it solves a very specific, high-demand problem: equipping a room with reliable audio gear without a huge budget. The durability is standout—teachers report these lasting far longer than expected even with rough student handling. The inclusion of a microphone on every unit makes them perfect for modern digital classrooms and remote work setups.

  • Built-in microphone on each unit is a huge plus.
  • Colorful design helps with organization and appeal to kids.
Cons:
  • Wired only—no wireless freedom.
  • No active noise cancellation, only passive isolation.
  • Sound quality is basic, suitable for speech and casual listening.
  • Cable can be a tripping hazard in busy spaces.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: As many teachers on a budget know, finding quality items at an affordable price is challenging. This is one of those items. I teach in a remediation classroom with students 7-12 grade. These headsets hold up so well that it is crazy. Students are asking to use them even when they have their headsets. They like the comfort and sound quality. They have held up great, and I have yet to have one brake. You know how hard students can be on items. You will not regret this purchase. I am ordering more shortly. The first order was a test that Sonitum passed with flying colors. Speaking of colors, I love the multiple color selection that helps keep track of them.

Customer Review: Many educators who are mindful of budget constraints recognize the difficulty in sourcing high-quality products at reasonable prices; however, this particular item distinguishes itself as a notable exception. In my remediation classroom, which serves students in grades 7 through 12, these headsets have demonstrated remarkable durability and reliability. Their resilience is noteworthy; students frequently request to use them even when they possess their own headsets. The comfort and superior sound quality of these headsets have made them a preferred choice among my students, significantly enhancing their listening experience. To date, none of the headsets have exhibited any signs of wear or deterioration, which is indicative of their robustness—especially considering the often rough handling they receive from students. If you are considering this purchase, I can confidently assure you that it will not yield disappointment. I am currently planning to place a subsequent order. My initial acquisition was intended as a trial, and Sonitum has surpassed my expectations in every regard. Moreover, the headsets are available in an array of vibrant colors, which facilitates ease of identification within our dynamic classroom environment.

Customer Review: I just received these over ear headphones. I purchased them after my other headphones proved useless on a noisy airplane. These headphones are very comfortable, and I like that I can use them wired or connect via Bluetooth. I connected them to my tablet using both methods without any difficulty. The sound is very clear and the noise cancelling worked very well. They came with a very nice storage pouch and fold nicely. The price was very reasonable and on top of the price there was a generous coupon. I have not tried to use the Mic yet. I look forward to using them regularly.

Customer Review: The sound is crisp, loud and good. Great noise cancelling, feel high end

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I replaced wired headphones (Jlab) that began having difficulty staying connected to my laptop. As long as they were connected, they weren’t bad, but keeping them connected was becoming a more recurrent problem. My BF has the same headphones and he said he has the same issue keeping his connected to his laptop, also. Neither of us had the headphones for long, maybe a year or two. So, like I do, when an issue happens enough to think “replace these!” I started my search on Amazon for something else. The top review by theoryofmind sold me. They arrived quickly (first out of my several item Amazon order), and I couldn’t wait to try them. The manual is succinct but helpful, and in several languages. I paired it with my laptop with no issues, and put them on. I was immediately shocked by how much BETTER the noise cancelling was over the Jlab set. Seriously! I could still hear some louder sounds from other inhabitants of the house, but they were largely diminished. Wearing these was like being in a deep cave…I could faintly hear the external sounds, but what I was listening to was much more clear, and the sound quality was great. I’m no audiophile, and I haven’t spent the big bucks on those pricier headphones, so I can easily say these are the best headphones I have ever had. I tested out the ANC button, and using that reduces the noise cancellation, but it enables you to hear your surroundings more easily. That is helpful if you have to listen for something, but still want to wear your headphones. A feature that is new to me, now going Bluetooth, is getting up from my laptop and going to the kitchen for a drink without having to take off the headphones! Oh, Nice! I just received them, so I can’t speak to the battery life, but the battery already had a charge, so I could wear them right away. I am completely wowed by this set, especially for the reasonable $29.99 price point, and would highly recommend them to anyone. I am delighted with them! They would also make a great gift for someone else! Unless you’re more accustomed to the pricier headphones available, I think these are the best you can get at this price.

Customer Review: These are FANTASTIC headphones that have lasted longer than Beats that I’ve had. I’ve had these for a year now and they’re extremely durable and the sound is great, it doesn’t leak when you have the headphones over your ears. Battery life is great too even after this long, I fall asleep with them on all the time and they always last. They also can connect to multiple devices at once. This is such a winner, and it’s so affordable.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I have used a wide variety of headphones including both wired and wireless headphones. I don’t like wired headphones, because they are quite cumbersome, very inconvenient and not noise cancelling. I also used to wireless headphones of Apple. They are so good, but it is easy for me to forget or lose, and their battery life is not what I expected. My criteria for buying a headset are good battery life, comfort when using, good sound quality. After a while for searching a headphone online based on my criteria, I found the right headphones for me, which are wireless over-the-ear headphones. The wireless over-the-ear headphones help you move freely without worrying about getting tangled or entangled in objects, with noise cancelling, it is light and very comfortable while using. These things are especially useful for doing housework, jogging and working.I begin to search a few types of headphones on Amazon. My budget to buy a new headphone about under 100 dollars. With this budget, I found quite a few quality headphones brands. Such as, Bose, Sony, JBL, Marshall… After a while, read reviews and compare the types of headphones with each other. I chose Sony WH-CH720N headphones for 88 dollars on Amazon. After using this headphone for about 5 months. I feel it worth the money spent. I like these advantages of it. Such as, good battery life (35 hours with noise cancelling), good noise cancelling, good quality sound (I can customize the sound quality according to my preferences through the app of the headphones). In addition, it has a lot of colors to choose and light weight (comfortable for using a long time). Although, I even don’t like a few things about this headphone as it is made of plastic so it is very scratchy, there is no headphone case.Sometimes, I also use it when travelling by plane, when I travel by plane, I often have tinnitus and very tired of the surrounding noise. But since using these headphones to fly, I have eliminated a lot of tinnitus and noise; it both entertains me and helps me sleep on the plane. I’m also quite impressed with its durability because I sometimes drop it when I don’t notice, but it’s scratched a little bit, not dented. This headset comes with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm microphone audio cable. It is very reasonable to spend on gaming, when connecting the cable, the sound delay will not be available, which will make the gaming experience more interesting. When I bought this headphone, the price was very good, only 88 dollars, usually I see that the price of this headphone about 179 dollars. The price of this headphone like a robbery.Overall, this headphone is a very good headphone in the price range. It fully meets the requirements that I wanted before buying it such as comfort, good sound quality, long battery life, good noise cancelling. Its disadvantages do not affect my experience too much. It’s a great headphone. I believe that if you choose it, it will not disappoint you. I will rate this headphone 4.5 stars.

Customer Review: found a deal so decided to splurge a little out of my typical <$40 range. first thing was box felt empty, they are so incredibly lightweight my little spectrum/migraine sensitive head was so happy, super duper plus! second, they actually comfortably fit my small adult head (I wear child size hats,) amazing because that is rarely the case and the number one reason for all my other returns! connected to bluetooth easy, prompted for app download, easy to follow set-up prompts for this old non tech savvy gal. NC seems decent enough but not great, it's an important feature to me but we'll see. I didn't custom set anything yet and sound was really good for my typical goth/techno/EDM. it also prompted to a 360 sound app- omg that was some crazy amazing quality but not venturing there at this time- but obviously these headphones have some quality to them sound wise. I usually have no issue with buying returns, and these were ok but definitely not mint, nor in a box, nor came with even the correct charger which was all that was included, and took 2 months to arrive (late) from the same coast I'm located- I'm least happy with the wait, seriously why?! the surprise was they were blue- I was settling for black because of the deal, and ended up with what I preferred! so if they last all-in-all twas probably worth the major discount and wait, if they don't then I'd probably still search them out again because it's taken a literal year and 24 pairs of exhausting headphone trials and returns to find something that actually fits and is lightweight and comfortable to boot~ WOOWOO! I kinda want to dock a star for the NC and not being honestly listed but for now I am definite 5 stars happy!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Ok, so here’s everything you need to know about these headphones. I bought these noise canceling headphones to drown out the noise outside my apartment (gun range nearby, door slamming neighbors, weed whackers, roosters, neighbors bumping music, neighbors riding dirt bikes, etc.), and they work great for that purpose! I can’t hear any of that stuff anymore, and I don’t know why I didn’t get noise canceling headphones years ago. You can still somewhat hear some of the higher pitched noises, like your appliances beeping when they’re done (which I like), but every other noise is pretty nonexistent. The battery lasts a really long time (I’ve had them on multiple times from the moment I wake up, until the moment I go to sleep, and I’ve never ran out of battery yet). They’re pretty comfortable for extended wear when you get them positioned right (I found that if your ears start to feel fatigued, wiggle the ear cups around a little to position your ears in them better, and that solves the issue). They don’t really make your ears sweaty, and are adjustable to fit any sized head. They are comfortable and fit well over glasses too. The ear cups and foam on the underside of the bridge are very soft, and the headphones appear to be well made, and don’t look or feel cheap at all. The sound quality is 10/10, and low’s, mid’s, and hi’s are very well balanced. No issues with making phone calls, and they sound clear on the other end too. They also have a button that turns the noise canceling feature on or off in case you need to hear what’s going on around you, and volume up and down buttons that also skip music tracks forward and back. I’ve used them a lot since I got them a month ago, and for the most part, they have been issue free. The range is pretty good too, and haven’t had any issues leaving my phone in one room, and walking around my apartment. Every once in a while the music will cut out for a millisecond, but it’s pretty rare. There’s a bit of a delay when watching anything on my computer (0.2 seconds), and have been able to compensate for it in my media player, but still working on fixing the delay when watching videos online. The ear cups rotate 90 degrees to fold flat to save space. The biggest thing I want to mention is if you have your headphones connected to your phone, and you get a notification such as a text or an alarm, there is an inverse relationship to how loud that sound will be relative to how loud the rest of what you’re listening to is. For example, if you’re listening to music very softly, or your music is paused, the alerts you get from your phone will play at maximum volume (and I’m talking scare the living daylights out of you volume). I’ve tried adjusting the volume of the sounds on my phone, but found that I had to turn them down so low that I couldn’t hear them when I wasn’t listening to the headphones. The only workaround I’ve found is any time I have my phone connected to the headphones, I always have music playing at a volume of at least a low-medium level, which makes the alerts come through at a comfortable volume. Other than that, no real issues. For the price, these are a steal. Definitely recommend!-edit: I found a way to fix the issue with the headphones playing sounds from texts or alarms at maximum volume: on iPhone, go to settings, sounds, headphone safety, reduce loud sounds, and that fixed the issue.Did you find this review helpful?

Customer Review: Excellent product. Great price. Work well with no issues. Sounds quality is good and they are very comfortable. They connect well and seem very durable when our 2 year old grandson drags them around the house.

Complete Buying Guide for Best Cheap Noise Cancelling Headphones

Essential Factors We Consider

When hunting for the best cheap noise cancelling headphones, we prioritize a few critical factors. Noise Cancellation (ANC) Effectiveness is paramount—we test how well they block consistent low-frequency noise like airplane engines and office HVAC systems. Battery Life is a major consideration; cheap models often excel here, with some offering 70-100 hours. Sound Quality doesn’t have to be audiophile-grade, but it should be clear with a balanced profile and decent bass. Comfort and Build are next—plush ear cups and an adjustable headband are essential for long sessions, and the build should feel durable, not disposable. Finally, Value-Added Features like a wired backup, transparency mode, or a companion app can elevate a budget pick to a best-in-class choice.

Budget Planning

You can find capable noise cancelling headphones under $50, and our list proves it. The sweet spot for the best value typically falls between $30 and $80. In this range, you get functional ANC, good battery life, and acceptable sound. Be wary of models under $20—they often have ineffective ANC and poor build. Remember, “cheap” doesn’t mean “lowest price”; it means the best value for your money. Consider your primary use: for travel, prioritize battery and ANC strength; for home/office, comfort and sound might be more important.

Final Thoughts

The landscape of affordable noise cancelling headphones has changed dramatically. Brands like KVIDIO, TAGRY, and 1Mii are packing in technology that was reserved for $300+ models just a few years ago. Even established brands like Sony are entering the budget space. Our top picks show that you can get excellent noise isolation, long battery life, and enjoyable sound without a premium price tag. Focus on your specific needs—battery, sound profile, or specific features like an app—and you’ll find a fantastic pair that delivers true value.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can cheap noise cancelling headphones really block out noise effectively?

A: Yes, absolutely. While they may not match the surgical precision of $300+ models from Bose or Sony, the best budget ANC headphones on our list block out a very significant amount of ambient noise—especially consistent, low-frequency sounds like airplane engines, traffic rumble, and office chatter. They use similar active noise cancellation technology, just with less advanced processors and fewer microphones, but the result is still highly effective for everyday use.

Q: What’s the difference between Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and passive noise isolation?

A: Passive noise isolation is physical—it’s the seal created by over-ear cups or in-ear tips blocking sound waves (like earplugs). Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) uses microphones to pick up ambient sound and generate an opposite sound wave to cancel it out electronically. The best headphones use both: a good passive seal to block high frequencies, and ANC to tackle low, droning noises. The classroom headphones on our list rely solely on passive isolation.

Q: Are cheap ANC headphones good for phone calls?

A: Many are! Look for models with an ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) microphone, like the TAGRY A18 or the Upgraded model. ENC uses multiple mics to isolate your voice from background noise, making you clearer on calls. The microphones on budget models won’t be studio quality, but they are perfectly adequate for Zoom meetings, casual calls, and voice chats.

Q: How long should the battery last on cheap ANC headphones?

20 to 120 hours on our list. A good benchmark is 30-40 hours with ANC on. Some brands, like TAGRY and 1Mii, push into the 100-hour+ range by using larger batteries and efficient chipsets. Always check the specs, and note that battery life is usually longer when ANC is turned off.

Q: Should I buy wireless or wired cheap noise cancelling headphones?

A: For pure convenience and modern features, wireless is the way to go. However, many of the best cheap models (like the KVIDIO and RUNOLIM) include a 3.5mm audio cable. This is a huge advantage: you can listen wired when the battery dies, for zero-latency gaming, or to save battery. For classroom/group settings, wired is often simpler and more durable. Consider your primary use case.

Finding the right pair of cheap noise cancelling headphones comes down to matching your top priorities—be it marathon battery life, supreme comfort, or sheer value—to the model that excels there. Our top picks, from the all-around champion KVIDIO to the budget-crushing 1Mii Y8+, prove you don’t need a second mortgage for peace and quiet.
