Customer Review: I just received these today after buying them on sale for $25.59. I’ve only tested them for a couple of hours, but they’ve exceeded all of my expectations so far. I don’t play games online but I needed some headphones with a decent mic to use the for the AI race engineer feature in F1 25. First, the mic works perfectly even without a foam filter (I don’t think it came with one). The other headphones I have are good for listening and have that kind of noise cancelling but not on the mic, so the game wouldn’t shut off the mic communications because it (and I) still heard background resonance. I couldn’t hear a thing other than my voice with this Weseary set. The mic on this set is crystal clear with zero background hiss, even with a space heater working overtime in the room, which wasn’t on when I tried the other headphones. The reason I chose these over any other competitor was the breathable fabric. It’s fantastic compared to the typical faux leather of most ear cups. The padding seems exceptionally deep and dense too, no squish, so the padding contact patch stays the same size on your head as when they’re off, helping to stay even cooler. They’re incredibly lightweight and fit securely but not too tight, incredibly comfortable. I’m usually aware of the faux leather getting steamy after not too long and needing to vent my ears, but I’ve forgotten I’m still wearing these after a couple hours while I write this. I also tried a few minutes of Ghost of Tsushima and I can attest to the spatial separation and clarity over the set’s frequency range. It’s not boomy at all, but also not tinny. Just good low mid-range to highs, which I need most in racing sims. And even though I don’t really care what they look like given I don’t wear them outside, I do like how understated they are, with just a tiny, obligatory RGB band around the mic housing to let you know they’re if powered on. I usually use a 5.1 desktop sound system for non-racing sims but the more I use these as I’m writing this, the more I’m looking forward to trying them out with other games. Without having tried any other headsets of course, I can easily say that for the current sale price, I don’t see how these can be beat for mic noise cancelling, clarity and comfort at this sale price. Even for the full price they’re probably what should be expected. Honestly, I wish this brand would make some regular Bluetooth headphones just like these without the boom mic. You do have to plug in the USB in order for the light to work which if you’re playing with your PlayStation and plugged into the controller obviously that’s not doable. I usually have issues with over-the-ear headphones because they start to hurt the upper ridge of my ear. These ones don’t! It would be nice if the mic were reversible so you could wear them both ways, but that’s minor and I have no issue with it being on my left side. I also wear glasses and some over-the-ear headphones press in on the ear part and get uncomfortable. I want to clarify that I am very annoying when buying something. I immediately started researching and followed my pre-purchase protocol. I read the reviews, looked up its features, and apparently the product had everything I was looking for. After careful consideration, I decided to give the SENZER SG500 a try and I must say I have no regrets. After a couple of weeks of wearing the SENZER SG500 every day, here are my comments. I usually teach online so I needed a product that wouldn’t kill my ears (Yes, I have big ears) after two or three hours and the ear pads are so well designed you don’t even notice them. They’re soft and they adapt themselves to the shape of your head, but more importantly, after a couple of hours, your ears thank you for how great they feel. The weight is another thing that surprises me, they are very light and sometimes you forget that you are using them. The cable is very well designed. It has a coating made of some kind of sintetic cloth, which is very difficult to break. Integrated into the cable, we find a small device that allows you to control both the volume and mute the microphone. And this is appreciated by me, because sometimes you just want to mute the microphone without having to do it on the device you are using (my laptop). And speaking of the microphone, it captures the sound with great quality. My students listen to me without problems and I can tell the difference in the new audios and tutorials that I recorded in the last days from the previous ones. I am aware that we are talking about a product that is designed for gaming, but this product can be used in other environments, such as a virtual classroom, video calls, recording, and even listening to music. As for the latter, I think it was what surprised me the most. It has such a clear sound that sometimes you think that the music is coming from outside and not from the SENZER SG500 itself. The basses are incredible and is never distorted. Always loud and clear. And I’m used to listening to music with good quality equipment, because sometimes I work at a local radio station with a friend. Another aspect that I like is that they can be folded and are easy to transport. If I had to describe my overall experience with the SENZER SG500, I have to give them a 5/5. At least in my case and two weeks using the product, it meets all my expectations. If you ask me about something negative and I don’t know whether to call it a negative, it has to be that I tried the product on my cell phone and although it is true that they sound quite good, the volume is low compared to when I use them on my laptop. I can attribute it to the fact that the sound output from my cell phone is not of quality or that it does not have the correct power to really exploit the potential of the SENZER SG500. But that’s probably my phone. Now if you’re going to use them for what they were designed for, you won’t regret it.

I’ve come back 5 years later to get me another pair, because only recently, the leather ear pads have started to peel off, and the mic got kinda worn out. Of course, these are only cosmetic problems. The mic works excellently, and my friends have even randomly just been like “Wow, how is your voice so clear”. It’s great. The sound quality is just as good as new. I’ve put these headphones through the ringer and they still work just fine. So if any of you particularly rage-prone gamers out there get you a pair of these headphones, I’m pretty confident they’ll survive an intimate high speed collision with your drywall. In all seriousness though, if you treat them well, I can see ’em lasting years longer than they lasted for me. Along with that, these headphones are a great budget option, especially if you don’t like rolling the dice on those unknown Chinese manufacturers that plague Amazon. Customer Review: I have had these for over two years now and really can’t complain about much. I play video games and stream with them and have gotten comments on how nice and clear my mic is. Audio: I think the audio is pretty standard. Not the best you’ll ever hear in life but in this price range it’s amazing. I’ve been jump scared a few times not being able to hear someone come up to my desk so the noise cancelling is pretty decent. Mic: I thought that maybe I needed to upgrade my mic but I haven’t found anything aside upgrading to an external mic that tops this. I love the flip to mute ability and use it frequently. Comfort: I usually start to feel the tiniest discomfort after about 5-6 hours which is plenty time for me most of the time. I have worn them longer and it’s not painful but just a little sore when I take them off. They are on the lighter side and adjust nicely. Longevity: There’s some slight wear on the headband part but that just started after all this time and they do rest on a holder in that spot. I did have some issues with sound stopping out of one earphone at one point, I think something became loose and so I just have to keep the volume scroll wheel on the actual headset in a certain spot now but it’s not a problem because I never used that to control the volume anyway. It hasn’t stopped working in a few months now. I haven’t seen anyone else have this issue when it started so could just be a rare occasion and of course eventually they’ll need to be replaced. For this price though I’d buy the same ones again and be set for a few more years at least. Comparison: I saw some HyperX Cloud Alpha S on sale and bought them thinking I was getting an upgrade and I was so wrong. The HyperX mic quality was so quiet I thought maybe it was just me but saw others posting online having the same issues. So far I haven’t been able to fix it enough and in order to stream and not annoy talking with friends in Discord I’ll be returning to using my Logitech headset for the foreseeable future. The HyperX was also much heavier and started to cause discomfort much sooner, maybe about two hours. Overall: Despite some minor issues these headphones have done really well for me and are better than other headsets I’ve tried that may be similarly priced. Customer Review: I’ve had USB headsets for a long, long time, both wired and wireless. I am so, so, SO very tired of them just stopping working, without notice. With this 3.5mm jack, I’m plugged directly in to the computer’s hardware system, without that USB software layer. It’s almost like 1950s analog equipment! Wellll, not quite, but it’s a lot closer than USB. I read the reviews before I ordered this headset. The noise cancellation can’t be faulted – my ears are encased inside of foam insulators! I hear little noise around me, even when there is no sound coming through the speakers! I’m less sure about the microphone noise cancellation, but my wife tells me I sound good on the phone. Sound is quite good. These headphones sound as good as almost ANY of my USB headsets have sounded. There is an exception to that, but it stopped working due to battery issues. Here, there are no batteries! It took about an hour for me to chase down all the settings to get both the headphones and the mic working properly. All of that is hidden inside of Windows settings, as well as program settings installed by equalizer programs. I finally rooted out all the proper settings, and this headset sounds great. I may possibly shop more later, to find a better sounding “audiophile” head set, but these really are a great set. Gamers are pretty demanding, and a gamer’s headset rivals the low end of audiophile headsets.
