Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Firstly, the color is so cute, and exactly as pictured. I am so in love with the aesthetic of them. They also came fully charged, which was awesome so I got to use them immediately. Secondly, the quality is super good so far. Whether listening to podcasts, rap, or metal music, the sound quality has been perfect. They are compatible with both my switch and my phone which is to be expected, but still happy there were no surprises or difficulties there. They aren’t exactly noise canceling though. When they’re on with no sound playing, other sounds are just dulled ever so slightly. When sound is playing, you can still hear people talking and other sounds like fans, but outside sounds aren’t obtrusive and are blocked fairly well. I also really like how big the ear holes in the pads are, I wasn’t expecting that. My whole ear fits inside them, which makes them super comfortable since they aren’t smooshing the tops of my ears into the arms of my glasses. It also makes them really comfortable to wear while laying down, again because they don’t smoosh my ears.”
Customer Review: “The BERIBES Bluetooth Headphones are a standout choice for anyone seeking high-quality audio without the premium price tag. The most impressive feature is undoubtedly the massive 65-hour playtime, which allows for over a week of casual listening on a single charge—perfect for long work weeks or travel. Sound enthusiasts will appreciate the 6 EQ modes (ranging from Rock and Pop to Vocal and Deep Bass), which let you customize the profile to match your genre of choice at the touch of a button. Despite their durable build, they are incredibly lightweight and feature soft memory-protein ear cushions, making them comfortable for all-day wear in a home office or during a commute. With a reliable Bluetooth 5.3 connection and a clear built-in microphone for calls, these headphones offer a level of versatility and performance that truly punches above their weight class. Highly recommended!!!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I have used a wide variety of headphones including both wired and wireless headphones. I don’t like wired headphones, because they are quite cumbersome, very inconvenient and not noise cancelling. I also used to wireless headphones of Apple. They are so good, but it is easy for me to forget or lose, and their battery life is not what I expected. My criteria for buying a headset are good battery life, comfort when using, good sound quality. After a while for searching a headphone online based on my criteria, I found the right headphones for me, which are wireless over-the-ear headphones. The wireless over-the-ear headphones help you move freely without worrying about getting tangled or entangled in objects, with noise cancelling, it is light and very comfortable while using. These things are especially useful for doing housework, jogging and working. I begin to search a few types of headphones on Amazon. My budget to buy a new headphone about under 100 dollars. With this budget, I found quite a few quality headphones brands. Such as, Bose, Sony, JBL, Marshall… After a while, read reviews and compare the types of headphones with each other. I chose Sony WH-CH720N headphones for 88 dollars on Amazon. After using this headphone for about 5 months. I feel it worth the money spent. I like these advantages of it. Such as, good battery life (35 hours with noise cancelling), good noise cancelling, good quality sound (I can customize the sound quality according to my preferences through the app of the headphones). In addition, it has a lot of colors to choose and light weight (comfortable for using a long time). Although, I even don’t like a few things about this headphone as it is made of plastic so it is very scratchy, there is no headphone case. Sometimes, I also use it when travelling by plane, when I travel by plane, I often have tinnitus and very tired of the surrounding noise. But since using these headphones to fly, I have eliminated a lot of tinnitus and noise; it both entertains me and helps me sleep on the plane. I’m also quite impressed with its durability because I sometimes drop it when I don’t notice, but it’s scratched a little bit, not dented. This headset comes with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm microphone audio cable. It is very reasonable to spend on gaming, when connecting the cable, the sound delay will not be available, which will make the gaming experience more interesting. When I bought this headphone, the price was very good, only 88 dollars, usually I see that the price of this headphone about 179 dollars. The price of this headphone like a robbery. Overall, this headphone is a very good headphone in the price range. It fully meets the requirements that I wanted before buying it such as comfort, good sound quality, long battery life, good noise cancelling. Its disadvantages do not affect my experience too much. It’s a great headphone. I believe that if you choose it, it will not disappoint you. I will rate this headphone 4.5 stars.”
Customer Review: “found a deal so decided to splurge a little out of my typical <$40 range. first thing was box felt empty, they are so incredibly lightweight my little spectrum/migraine sensitive head was so happy, super duper plus! second, they actually comfortably fit my small adult head (I wear child size hats,) amazing because that is rarely the case and the number one reason for all my other returns! connected to bluetooth easy, prompted for app download, easy to follow set-up prompts for this old non tech savvy gal. NC seems decent enough but not great, it's an important feature to me but we'll see. I didn't custom set anything yet and sound was really good for my typical goth/techno/EDM. it also prompted to a 360 sound app- omg that was some crazy amazing quality but not venturing there at this time- but obviously these headphones have some quality to them sound wise. I usually have no issue with buying returns, and these were ok but definitely not mint, nor in a box, nor came with even the correct charger which was all that was included, and took 2 months to arrive (late) from the same coast I'm located- I'm least happy with the wait, seriously why?! the surprise was they were blue- I was settling for black because of the deal, and ended up with what I preferred! so if they last all-in-all twas probably worth the major discount and wait, if they don't then I'd probably still search them out again because it's taken a literal year and 24 pairs of exhausting headphone trials and returns to find something that actually fits and is lightweight and comfortable to boot~ WOOWOO! I kinda want to dock a star for the NC and not being honestly listed but for now I am definite 5 stars happy!"

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Updated review: After some quality issues with the white pair, the seller contacted me, offering to send me a replacement. It arrived quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. They offered to send me a set of the black ones, which appear to be a more recent revision as of 1/29/2026. I’ll be reviewing those. If you’re interested in the white pair, see my original review below instead and the issues do still stand, thought the customer service is fantastic so the company deserves an extra star for that. For the price, the sound quality is decent. It’s not as good as my similarly-priced in-ear buds or over-ear headphones, but that’s to be expected given the limitations of the form factor – I also have gone through about a dozen of each of those styles to find the best offering though, so my standards skew high on my sound quality. The difference is mostly noticeable in the lower and lower-mid tones lacking some body, plus some slight gain clipping issues if your music has too much going on. If you’re listening to a podcast or something that’s not bass-heavy, it’s not too noticeably different. The comfort and area-awareness make the sound trade-offs totally worth it. The buds have replaced both my in-ear and over-ear headphones as my daily user solely based on the comfort of wear. I often forget they’re on. Be aware that depending on your ear size you may need to rotate the phones to find a comfortable angle, but once you do they’re barely noticeable. You can hear everything around you while wearing them which is a huge plus if you live in an area where you really would prefer to hear what’s going on around you clearly while walking around. Build quality feels solid with that satiny finish common of at least mid-grade earbuds these days. Battery life is nothing to write home about, but they charge pretty quickly. I often use mine at work and just throw them in the case when I want to do something where I don’t need them on, and I haven’t had issues. Original review for the white phones below: Sound is…fine. Better than super cheap gas station earbuds, but they’re mostly good for audio books, videos, etc since the low and midtones are pretty unimpressive. Very comfortable, just be aware you may have to find the right angle for your ear. The primary reason for the middling review though is how touchy the built in controls are. If you move too quickly, you’ll be blessed with a popping noise of uncontrollable volume telling you the bud has decided to do something. Since the controls are extremely light touch, this happens A LOT. One of my buds either got the controls stuck or else had a software glitch that a factory reset didn’t fix where if sound wasn’t constantly playing, it would act like I was repeatedly pressing the volume down control. This issue made the bud essentially unusable. As with any technology off the internet, you get what you pay for. If you want something that will get the job done and don’t like in-ear buds but aren’t looking to commit to a decent brand, these might work for you. If you want something better than the equivalent of gas station Skull Candy’s, maybe punch up a bit more and get a higher quality product.”
Customer Review: “These things are amazing… Battery play time at its highest volume is very good and to say the least I am surprised for such an affordable product. Sound quality is great and I like the faze function when turning back on the music it does not hit you all at once. I like the design and it fits comfortably around my ears. I listen to music all the time and these headphones while wearing feels as if they are not even there. Very impressed. only had them a short while so I can attest to the longevity of this product. I also get 30+ feet from my phone or other connected devise, so its range is good as well. Connection is stable. I purchased the black version of this product, and it is a sleek look. All and all very nice product not just for the price but of its quality.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Ordered these around November 10th, delivered as indicated on 12th, packed well & arrived in good shape. I immediately put them on a charger as indicated prior to use. I usually am up 2 to 3 hours prior to my wife. The 13th I paired these with the Dish 3 Hopper. Most days since, I used them an hour or two to watch recordings of shows. Today is February 25th & I got the 1st notice of low power. I have put them back on the charger for 1st time since the original arrival charge. I rate these 5 Stars for living up to time between charges. Note, using several hours at a time, versus 1 or 2 may increase rate of discharge. Performance listening to music is also excellent. I was also pleased with quality on listening to YouTube Music in 8D & greater tunes. I lost a lot of hearing in left ear in Vietnam. I swear in those songs, my left ear appears to be working again. Again, 5 Stars for audio performance for Music & TV Shows/Movies. I find these headphones great for comfort & they fit over my ears fine. However, one having larger ears than I may find a tighter fit. Other reviewers have noted this. For me, 5 Stars for comfort! Only nit I’d pick, is this model does not support showing remaining power level in the App. However, headphones do have a verbal low power warning. I received this today with about 40 minutes left in a TV recording. I was able to finish watching it with a couple more warning. I turned headphones off at end & put them on the charger. Despite App not showing power left, the verbal warning is sufficient. I would like to see JBL indicate in specifications that this model does not support sending App Power Level Remaining. Still, would rate 5 Stars overall with this one caveat.”
Customer Review: “I really like these headphones. They cancel out the noise very well and they are comfortable to wear. The blue tooth connection was simple to setup and it works flawlessly. The sound is great. Maybe I am not the best evaluator of headphones because I do not use them a lot, but I feel like I received great value for these inexpensive headphones.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I’ve been using the Raycon Essential Wireless Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very pleased. The sound quality is rich, balanced, and immersive, with clear highs and deep bass that make music and podcasts sound fantastic. The Active Noise Cancelling feature works well — it blocks out background noise without distorting the audio, which is great for working, studying, or traveling. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and the battery life is incredible — I easily get close to the advertised 50 hours between charges. The 5 built-in microphones make phone calls crystal clear, and I’ve had no connection issues when switching between my phone and laptop. The only learning curve was getting used to the button layout and controls, especially after using Beats Solo headphones for years. Once I figured them out, operation became much smoother. I also appreciate the IPX4 water resistance, which adds peace of mind for workouts or walks in light rain. These headphones offer premium performance, reliable Bluetooth connectivity, and excellent value for the price. They look sleek, feel durable, and deliver a truly enjoyable listening experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking everyday comfort, powerful sound, and long battery life in a modern, wireless design.”
Customer Review: “Comfortable, great battery, and very decent bass for the price. Overall a solid one. I live in an apt so I don’t put the tv loud and use headphones at night. These are a big upgrade to my wired gaming headset. Richer music and no wires. Bought for the gym. But now they’re my go to headset. Very comfortable too and I have a very large head.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “What a deal! I was apprehensive about buying such a cheap pair of inexpensive earbuds but I needed a pair for the gym. Figured if I lost them it wouldn’t be as bad as losing my pair of expensive Apple pods. You would be surprised at how many earbuds my gym has in the lost and found! They work great and hold a long charge. I use them at least 3-5 hours a week and keep them in my gym bag and they’re still holding a charge from 2 months ago. I like them so much that I have purchased another pair to keep at home. Only downside is they are not noise canceling (but not advertised to be) but the sound quality is quite good. I use them for listening to both audible books and music! Great selection of colors too! Comfortable fit as well!”
Customer Review: “These havent failed me so far they are very comfortable the quality is there even with the phone calls. For the money its worth it. I have kind of small ears but they fit great they dont fall off I’ve ran in them sweat in them around the ears the rubber is super soft and looks like it will adjust to your ears nicely if you have bigger ears. I take them everywhere. I’ve fallen asleep and they dont fall off. I bought the storage case for it separately and i would recommend if you tend to drop things like i do its saved me more times than i can count they are Comfortable to sleep in tells you when you’re running low on battery and when the case is running low on battery also . Oh and of course the battery life now that I can tell you tops everything ! The case the battery life lasts me like 3 months the headphones itself they last me from full charge they can go up to 16 hours if not way more becasue I used them on my flight that was about 14 hours non stop put them on as soon as I boarded I fell asleep never turned them off and they still had battery life to keep going i never took them off till i got to my hotel so these are amazing for me they lasted way beyond the 8 hours it says charging the case and head phones is super fast it doesn’t take hours and hours great purchase I couldn’t decide and I chose to risk it for these but they turned out to be the best headphones I’ve had the charging life alone on it makes it stand out way better than my beats”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “These are pretty good headphones, for the price they are excellent. I would say the audio quality is 7/10 compared to really high end headphones, but as long as your aren’t an audiophile these will probably be perfectly satisfying. I wanted these because i have been on the phone a lot and earbuds where starting to hurt my ears. These have active noise cancelling as well as awareness mode, where it uses the microphones to funnel in ambient sounds so you can hear what’s going on around you. These features aren’t perfect by any means though. The noise cancelling is decent and very noticeable. They will make life much more bearable if you’re on an aircraft sitting by the wings, the engine noise will be far quieter, but still there. If the ambient noise is minute, they will totally be cancelled out. The awareness mode works, but I often wish i could control the volume of the piped in sounds, I often wish i could make them louder. It is noticeable that you can hear whats around you, but its not amazing. For example if you are listening to music, you’ll want it very quiet if you want to be able to hear things around you in detail, like if you’re at the airport and you want to clearly hear announcements. The ear cups are kind of small for over the ear headphones, but not uncomfortable. I would say they are just big enough for my ears. These are comfy to wear for extended periods of time and the battery life is lovely. Really spoiling if you are coming from earbuds that need to be recharged in the case. These claim a run time of about 36 – 40 hours. It seems accurate, I have run them for days without charging. Sound quality is good as I said, there are a couple built in EQ presets. Really you get no EQ, a little extra bass and a lot of extra bass. I prefer the little extra bass setting. Overall for the cost, these are a great value. I would purchase again.”
Customer Review: “I love Zwift. Zealous new convert, yep. Tried the the H2O Audio RIPT Zwift headphone collaboration. Loved the colors, but I shorted out the left earpiece 42.5 minutes into their first ride, then did the same to the replacement pair in 52 minutes. Amazing customer service, but apparently my body repels that which is too fancy. So, got these, and: Pros: Cost less than my Sony WH1000X4 (or something like that) and my 3M noise blockers. Pillowy soft headband and ear cups. Become virtually invisible to me shortly after putting on. Similar feel to Sony (buttery soft) and fit nicely over my sensitive ears. Good sound. Dampens external noise (three fans, AC, Zwift cheering NPCs, wheezing & cursing), but I can still hear the phone ring when pizza delivery arrives. Sony has touch activated earpieces. Great, so I usually accidentally turn on a feature I don’t use or want just by repositioning them or stretching, or my cat’s warm beans do it for me. These headphones do not have that feature. Good news for those of us ham-fisting our way through the day. Buttons only, and they work just fine. 3M changes my listening volume to an ear-bleed level when I pause or change movies/Fire stick apps. Even without full external noise muting. Ouch. These headphones just hold the volume I set and keep on going. Pause, change, it’s delightful. Pairs easily and quickly. 3M yells at me in my ear when it’s on/off/about to shut off because who would still be watching a movie after two hours/muting. These headphones have a gentle announcer that also stays at a reasonable volume. The ear cups fold out which is nice since I hang them to dry them and the ear pieces don’t hide moist spots being curled into the headband. I like the white. It matches my Zwift Ride, just nice. Simple design. Honestly, no complaints. They’ve done wonderfully during 90 minute rides (I’m usually saturated in 20 minutes. Yeah, I love winter!) They look good, charge well, sound great, and leave neither sore spots (cauliflower ears anyone?) nor hot spots (my ear buds serve only to guide sweat into my ear canal). Cons: Don’t fit over/under my helmet for IRL biking. I’d like some color combos, like white headband with blue ear cups. A touch of spice!”

Complete Buying Guide for Best Over The Ear Headphones For Working Out
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing headphones for the gym, secure fit and sweat resistance are non-negotiable. Look for adjustable headbands and ear cushions made from moisture-wicking materials. Battery life is crucial—aim for at least 20 hours to avoid frequent charging. Sound profile matters: many prefer enhanced bass for motivation, but clarity for podcasts is also important. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) can be a huge plus for blocking out gym din, but it adds cost and weight. Finally, consider durability—a foldable design and a solid case protect your investment during transport.
Budget Planning
You can find capable workout headphones from $30 to $50 (like the bmani or JBL Tune 720BT), which offer long battery and secure fit but may lack ANC. In the $50 to $100 range (Sony WH-CH720N, Raycon Essential), you get genuine ANC, better sound, and more premium materials. Above $100, you’re paying for brand prestige, ultra-refined sound, and the best ANC technology. For most people, the $50-$100 bracket offers the best balance of performance and value for fitness use.
Final Thoughts
The “best” headphones for your workout depend entirely on your personal priorities. If battery life is your top concern, the TAGRY is unbeatable. For the best budget ANC, the Sony WH-CH720N is a fantastic pick. If you work out outdoors, the open-ear OHAYO design is a safety essential. For a secure, no-loss fit, the hook-style bmani earbuds are brilliant. Focus on the features that align with your specific routine, and you’ll find a pair that becomes your perfect workout partner.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are over-ear headphones good for running?
A: Traditional over-ear headphones can be bulky and may slide during high-impact running. However, models with a very secure, lightweight fit (like the Sony WH-CH720N) can work for moderate jogs. For serious running, consider open-ear designs (like OHAYO) or hook-style earbuds (like bmani), which are specifically engineered to stay put and allow situational awareness.
Q: How important is sweat resistance for workout headphones?
A: Extremely important. Sweat contains salts and minerals that can corrode electronic components over time. Look for an IPX4 rating minimum (splash-proof), but IPX5 or IPX7 is ideal for heavy sweaters or all-weather athletes. The bmani and OHAYO models in this list offer IPX7, the highest level of water resistance.
Q: Do I need active noise cancellation (ANC) for the gym?
A: It depends on your gym environment. ANC is excellent for blocking out constant low-frequency noise like air conditioners, treadmill hum, or background music. However, for safety, you might want to hear some ambient sound, especially if you lift heavy weights where spotters might shout. Many modern headphones offer an “Awareness” or “Transparency” mode that lets outside sound in, giving you the best of both worlds.
Q: What’s the ideal battery life for workout headphones?
A: You should aim for a minimum of 15-20 hours on a single charge to cover a week of workouts without charging. The models on this list far exceed that, with some offering 50-100 hours. This is especially useful if you travel or don’t want to charge your headphones every few days.
Q: Can I use these headphones for calls and meetings?
A: Yes, most modern wireless headphones have built-in microphones. Look for models with multiple mics and noise reduction technology (like the Raycon Essential with its 5-mic system) for the clearest call quality. The included microphone on the Sony WH-CH720N is also well-regarded for voice calls.
Choosing the right headphones can transform your workout from a chore to a highlight of your day.
