I almost put 7.1 in quotes, but I think you get a true 7.1 out of these. With little equalizer interaction. I like to melt into my music. It’s advertised as a gaming headset, but, the mic is a tertiary function of the headset. It really is about the sound quality. I went straight dongle mode and it fleshed out perfectly. But of course you can BT with any device that supports Bluetooth. You can even connect Aux if you’d like. They even provide a threaded aux cord if you want to go straight into a monitor. All the buttons are located on the left ear muff besides one. The right button controls the toggle between standard studio and 7.1 and your headphone RGBs. I won’t give you the full directions that’s what the pamphlet is for. If you are not using the mic you only need to know about 4 buttons/hard presses. Takes about 10 minutes of wear to figure out. If you want to hear those footsteps before anyone else. Or the the heavy breath of someone rushing your spot…the rustle of trash being brushed aside…the door directly the your southwest. If you want pinpoint accuracy of that baddie, this ain’t a bad option. Just remember to turn that 7.1 on before the match for maximum impact. They are incredibly comfortable, I’ve been sick and tired of headphones that are leather or pleather oriented. They crack or peel without constant attention. This headset is lightweight; the cushioned thin cloth material is of very high quality. The bevels in the band are very sensitive and contour fantastically. You can tell a lot of attention to detail was paid to head comfortability. I wore these one night for 6 hours straight without even remembering to take them off because I was listening to a concert. I FORGET they were on. The mic is very simplistic, which honestly is all it needs to be. It picked up my voice fine and my group heard me fine during my matches and my discord group had no trouble either (crisp and clean). It only extends to about corner lip, at least on the size of my head. There is also no worry about stupid wired mics in the way. it RETRACTS into the muff. How it does this without compromising sound quality is impressive. Battery life is also very impressive. I don’t stream so I see no point in having the lights active on the headphones, so those get turned off every time I turn the headphones on (one annoyance). So far I’ve actively run them for about 17 hours with no warning of low battery. Given that’s subjective usage, mainly music but some just video game stuff which can have a lot of minimal workload. Overall, very much recommend. Amazing sound quality buckled with comfort and affordability. These should easily cost triple what they are going for. Get them at this price while you can. Edit: Sign up for their warranty. It is legit and they will address ALL your concerns. If a muff comes off, or your mic spring spikes out, that’s a faulty pair. They got you. I am hard on companies that sell products and don’t stand behind them or the product doesn’t perform as advertised. This is not one of those instances. This company definitely stood behind their product! I originally rated 2 stars due to my headset and the battery life (I think I just got a bad battery or something). With the communication provided by their customer service team and the determination to make it right, I am raising my rating to 5 stars. This is not 5 stars for the product itself. I would rate these headphones at a solid 4, but the fact that customer service cares about their customers, they have my loyalty for life. Bluetooth mode update: I originally had these in Dongle mode, not Bluetooth. The Bluetooth mode worked great but I did notice my mute button did not work in Bluetooth mode. Again, I may have just got a headphone set that was destined to fail. Hopefully my new set will work flawlessly. Based on other reviewers, I feel good about it. Original: Everything about this headset is good, not great, but good except the battery life. This thing dies fast! Maybe I got a faulty battery or something, but there is no way this thing lasts 40 hours with the light effect turned off, much less the 100 hours they advertise. I could charge it every day, or every other day, but I shouldn’t have to. This should last a minimum of 4.5 days of use based on the manufacture’s specs. I purchased this to use as my headset for work. I run a call center and use the headset and mic for 8.5 hours a day. I turn it on at 8am and turn it off at 4:30pm. (I usually turn the headset off for my 30-minute lunch.) I make sure the light effect is turned off to conserve power as I didn’t really need this anyway. The battery only lasts about 3.5 days. That is only 29ish give or take hours of run time before the headset says, ‘Battery Low’. The microphone is nice and clear with no echo. This was a huge thing for me since I am on calls all day. The only downside to the microphone is there is no noise canceling. The microphone will pick up every noise in your room. I have a foot massager at my desk, and I am told it sounds like I am in a machine factory when I have it on during a call. The audio is clear and sounds great for my calls. When listening to music, I would give it a 6.5 on a scale of 10. The volume is a bit limited. I feel like for what these are, they could be louder. The sound is crisp and does not distort, even when turned all the way up. I find the bass to be lacking though. You can hear it, but it should be much deeper considering they call this product 7.1 surround sound headphones. I would be slightly disappointed in the bass quality if I purchased these for FPS games. I do feel like you may be able to hear the enemy directionally with these though, given they claim 7.1. I have no doubt this would work just fine for gaming, but that is not what I purchased it for. Comfort level is obviously a big deal when you wear these for extended periods of time. The cushion on the top of the headset that rests on your head could be better if filled with some type of gel. There is a bit of foam, but after a few hours, it starts to hurt and I have to adjust it and move it to a new spot on my head. The earmuffs are absolutely awesome though! I can’t even tell they are on. They do not block out any outside noise though, so don’t expect a quiet experience if you have background noise in the room. It muffles it, but only due to covering your ears. The Bluetooth works great for what I need! I needed to be able to get up from my desk and walk around it without being attached with a short cord. It does not work at far ranges though. I tried to walk into my kitchen and the audio and mic cut out at about 10-15 feet. I does not disconnect until I reach my bedroom which is about 50-70 feet but then reconnects when I get closer to the computer. Again, there is no audio after about 10-15 feet though, so I’m not sure what the use of it being connect further away is. One last thing to mention is these are BIG! I mean that in the sense of the earmuffs are really quite large and heavy. That probably leads to the discomfort after extended periods or use. I will update this rating if the manufacturer issues a new headset with a better battery life as that is the whole reason I rated this 2-stars. It is very frustrating to purchase something and it not work for the specific purpose you needed. In my case a battery that would last all week.”

Customer Review: “Fantastic, the way the ears extend is clunky, but also super comfy and takes the stress out of the angle, reducing pressure compared to regular gaming headsets I have used. Spacial awareness by 3d sound works well in Fortnite and Borderlands 4. Mic noise cancelation and focus are amazing compared to my last headset of another brand. Also, the wireless signal from the dangle when inserted into the front port of my PS5, not hidden behind the TV, carries clear audio across the house, wheres prior headset plugged into the controller, audio would break. I was concerned I would have the poor experience shared by many of another brand that underperformed, but this came highly recommended by people I trust who game hard. Money well spent, sits well with glasses, after hours no idea it’s there. Local voice level (hear yourself) being on the right ear can is odd, but once known is cool. Mute is hard to find at first, but once you know, you know. Super nice charge cable and port extender cables, antigrip, and flatter. Very smooth use and design, took a second to adjust to the mic position, but works well for me now. Can also be used plugged in, not just wireless! My PS5 detected it when connected and on from charging. Dig it.”

Customer Review: “Comfort: These are nearly as comfortable as my daily Asto a40s. The Pro X2s come with two different types of ear cups; the default leather-ish cups and the breathable cloth cups. I use the cloth cups in an attempt to emulate the supreme comfort of the a40s, and I would say it’s close. Their light weight and swivel design definitely contribute to their comfort. I can wear these for 4+ hours and not feel fatigue or sweatiness. Bluetooth: I didn’t expect this functionality be so useful. With the press of the Bluetooth button, it will exit/enter Bluetooth mode, allowing you to switch between the 2.4GHz dongle connection and the Bluetooth connection within seconds. I found this useful when I’m on a discord call on my PC, and I get a phone call. I quickly mute myself on discord and then press the Bluetooth button, allowing me to use the headset to take the phone call. It’s a useful feature in general if I want to switch from my PC to my phone to continue a YouTube video or just listen to music on one or the other. Battery Life: I purchased this 8 days ago. It had around 70-80% battery left. I’ve used it every day (easily over 10 hours in total) and it’s at 50%. A good 4 hours of this usage was using the mic. I find this battery life to be insanely great. I have no anxiety of these things running out of battery mid-session. It’s exceptional. Sound Quality: As a preface, I’m accustomed to the sound quality of the Sony WH-1000XM5s ($400) and the Airpod Pros Gen 2 ($250). Both of these devices sound incredibly good, but they’re significantly more expensive (the Airpod Pros being priced similarly, but only being earbuds instead of over-the-ear). The Logitech G Pro X 2s do not sound as good as those mentioned, but they still sound good and clear. I will say, I reach for these as general use headphones (even for music), because of their comfort and long battery life. They’re more than good enough to use as regular headphones for me, and clearly I’m willing to use them over better sounding options. Mic Quality: The mic sounds fine, but isn’t as good as it should be for the price of this headset. I purchased it for $189.99, and I still think the mic should be better for that price. At MSRP of $250, it’s verging on unacceptable to me. It’s not a bad mic to be clear. My friends can understand me clearly, but they did say it sounds worse than my Astro a40s, which are $130 (albeit wired). I think the mic is fine, and I don’t think it should be a deal breaker unless you want to record your voice for something, but you should probably have a dedicated mic for that anyways. Conclusion: Writing this review has made it even more clear to me that I really like this headset. It’s combination of comfort, battery life and Bluetooth is amazing. I think it’s a great all-rounder wireless headset if you want something for PC gaming/chat, but also just a Bluetooth headset for your phone.”
