The aluminum frame is nice. The keys themselves are on the quieter side. However, I don’t find them all that tactile. Bit soft to touch, and because they have rounded corners, I find myself misclicking nearby keys much more often. That is going to take some getting used to. You have the function keys with added functionality, but that means keys like F5 are overridden, so you must hold FN + F5. I really hate that. So, some minor annoyances here. But for the pricepoint of ~$80, I think it’s a solid budget option.”

Customer Review: “First for some background, I have 14 keyboards, the majority of them being custom builds. This keyboard has kind of been my go-to for the past few weeks. The web software for changing settings is super intuitive and very easy to use. Connectivity has been fantastic over the dongle. Build quality is great. The type feel is good and the sound profile is fantastic with the default red switches. Visually the board is designed very nice. I’ve gamed on this as well and there is no lag. It is super lightweight and I chuck it into my bag whenever I go to the office. I do have two nitpicks: 1) some of the switches definitely have noticeable spring crunch or pinging. Not many – probably 2-4 on the entire board. I was able to fix it by removing the switches and relubricating the springs. 2) It’s difficult to customize this board other than keycaps and switches. No instructions of disassembly. Otherwise, if you are looking for a good low profile board right out the box, this is an absolutely fantastic board.”

It comes with north facing led backlights under the keycaps, no shine through, and it gives a subdued light that is bright but diffuse. The battery will suffer if you use it that way though with the lights on while wireless. With lights off though it lasts an impressive amount of time. It can also be used as just a wired daily driver. Typing on it is glorious. The keys are where my fingers expect to find them, and yes it did increase my WPM. I loved my Filco Majestouch 2 TKL with the Cherry MX Browns but now I’m spoiled and can never go back. Carrying it around is doable, but it does have real weight to it.”
