Customer Review: My Ibuypower water cooler failed on my system. (I discovered this is very common).I was debating on either getting a water cooler or going to Air cooling. I checked a lot of videos online and this air cooler kept coming up in the top 5 replacement recommendations over and over again. (search water coolers vs Air coolers)Since I don’t do any overclocking and the fact that they are much more reliable, I bought this unit.It works really great. It cost so much less than a water cooler and (in my opinion) is easier to install that a water cooler unit with hoses and radiator and cpu block.Positives:Very AffordableCools very wellVery well madePackage comes with everything you need. I do recommend watching online videos.Its big, you definitely need to make sure you have enough room in your case.Additional Recommendations:The thermal paste that comes with the package is ok, but I would highly recommend buying a high quality NON CONDUCTIVE thermal past.(Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, Artic-mx4, Cooler Master MasterGel Pro v2 etc)This is important!Make sure its NONCONDUCTIVE. Some thermal paste uses metallic ingredients to aid in thermal conductivity. The problem with this is that if you apply too much, it can go into the cpu electronic components and damage your system. With noncoductive thermal paste, this isn’t a issue so you don’t really need to be too exact. (If its a little too much, it doesn’t hurt anything.)This Air cooler also comes in single or double tower configurations, if your case can support it, I would definitely get the double tower.Make sure you get the fans installed/oriented correctly.I would also recommend installing cpu temperature monitoring software as well to make sure that everything is working correctly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a very reliable and very affordable air cooling option.

Customer Review: Works great so far. 10900k at idle was sitting at around 30°c when the ambient temp in the room was 85°f. This does come with its own tube of thermal paste but I had some leftover Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut so I used that instead. Not sure how good or had the Thermalright paste is but its a pretty big tube of it, its enough for 5-6 PCs. Can’t comment on how loud it is, I couldn’t hear it but my room has a lot of background noise. All in all installation was fairly simple (its pretty much like any other after market air cooler) and it did include a 4pin splitter so if you only have one cpu fan header you can still run both fans that come with this cooler. And for the price its a no trainer. This cooler is essentially the modern era version of the Hyper 212 Evo.

Customer Review: This Low Profile CPU cooler is good for keeping relatively low wattage CPUs cool. I have it installed on P8H77-i ASUS motherboard with an Intel Xeon e3-1230v2 CPU (69W TDP according to Intel). I think the max temp that I saw was 74°C while gaming. It’s not too loud either.The installation is not for a first time builder. Now, installing this cooler is an experience. I believe it is referred to as a reverse install. The standoffs are to be installed to the heatsink which *should* extend through the metal backplate. You then hand tighten the fasteners. Make sure you check the edge of the motherboard for flexing. If your motherboard is flexing, the fasteners are too tight. Overall, it’s a good low profile 90mm CPU cooler for a low power, small form factor (SFF) build. Follow the installation instructions and be mindful of how tight you tighten the fasteners, it’ll be satisfying to know you didn’t bork your motherboard when it boots and isn’t overheating.

Customer Review: This is a nice cooler…it is in a inwin b1 on a 5700G built around the ASRock b450 itx fatality…my main complaint with noctua similar but more popular offering is the direction it vents, it pushes air out left and right vs up and down so basically airflow is cut off by the memory and IO area ..this one from thermalright is exactly opposite it vents out the top and bottom(with convection mostly top) so this little problem as basically gone, the mounting mechanism defenetly isn’t noctuas famously easy to use one but it’s effective and considering I’m not going to be taking the cooler off twice a week it’s fine and iv defently seen worse on soposedly high end cooling solutions so I have no complaints…if I were to pick a single thing to hone in on with this brand it’s the smorgusborg for varients they offer, 36mm copper(black or gray) 43mm aluminum copper or black copper, 53mm in all versions mentioned above, all difrent weights…ya it’s a bit much for your average consumer…but that being sead I was able to find 2 that I liked that would not only maximize the height in my specific case wile leaving enough of a gap to pull in air but I also had a choice of color so there is that…but I think to drive my point home here I ended up buying 2 one all black that is soposed to be coated copper and one that is just all copper becase aperently even tho they are the same under the coating they are showing in the description as difrent weight and wattage so we will see about that once I receive the secound all shiny copper heavy one lol…overall I like them they are not over engenered just to make a basic mistake like push the air in a direction that on every itx motherboard made in the last 10years has many large tall things called ram modules RIGHT there basically eliminating any benefits of your product being heavy dense and well built lol…good job thermalright you didn’t forget the basics———–Update I just received the full copper revision of this model and yes it is infact noticeably heavier…I will defently be swapping out the all black one for this one and pairing it with the noctua slim 92mm fan from a nh-l9a and probebly artic MX 4 compound and doing some before and after testings on all the difrences…I’m not realy shur why this model is heavier than the black one as the black one is soposed to be full copper aswell just painted with a thermaly conductive paint and also nickel plated but we are going to find out what the results are of the difrences after testing…I want to be clear I like the all black model and the fans on these are ok, I will not be returning whichever one I don’t use for this build long term I just want to make shur I am pairing the best possible solution with this 5700G to get the best possible cooling performance so I don’t have to worry about my CPU temps in this airflow anemic case that is the inwin b1…lolI will likely just copy and paist this review for the copper one so there is a bit more feedback for both models becase as of right now there is very little user feedback on these and that a shame as they both have the same benefits over the noctua LP coolers that being they blow air up and are not blocked off by the memory or IO area(cooler or integrated sheald) but all the info in this review is still relevant for the copper one especial this part lol

Customer Review: I like this product. Here’s my day 1 experience…First you need to be ok with potentially removing the mother board, clearing thermal paste and reapplying thermal paste. If that is too much for you then find another solution!My stock AMD fan was driving me CRAZY! It was so loud that I didn’t want to use the system for more time than necessary. I was not sure which fan was making all the noise but with a tooth pick narrowed it to the CPU fan.At that point I looked for a solution and here’s my experience:Good:+ Price to me was fair and Amazon arrived the same day!+ Very Quiet (compared to my stock fan)+ Keeping my cpu between 38 – 60C+ Comes with thermal paste!+ fits Intel/AMD (mine is AMD)+ able to add a second fan but not included+ directions with basic stepsNot as good:- Installation took me about 90 minutes (I don’t do this daily… so I am a bit slow)- If you’re reapplying thermal paste you need 99% alcohol to clean the old paste (not included)- Installation required removing my system board- not a huge deal but takes time (case didn’t allow access to under the system board) So this could be because I have an older case. Be ready.- If you have a small case it may not fit… check the case size, it’s tall. Mine is full size Lian-Li and fit nicely.- second fan not included but can be added.- second fan may be tight against the memory on your system board.- split cable to power the first fan and add a second fan made my cpu fan speed unreadable. I added it so that the cable would be there for a future second fan.All in all, I like this solution. It’s very quiet, inexpensive and working nicely.Happy Computing!

Works and performs great!! with some of the higher demanding CPU games like Starship Troopers Extermination, and POE2 which run my ryzen 5 5600 at about 70-90% my CPU temp never got over 62C !!! i have the current fan config set to AIO cooler set to intake, drawing in fresh air to the CPU first, then the case, then i have one fan below the GPU also intake heavy gaming GPU never reached more than 72C!! with two exhaust fans on rear and top as well. this fan config seems to work really well for cooling! recommend full corsair case, AIO cooler is quiet and easy to install. all hardware included. U CAN control all fan RGBlights at the same time using corsair Commander duo. YOU DO NOT NEED ICUE LINK FANS OR ICUE HUB FOR RGB. just duo and corsair app. vid included shows.

I’m using for a asus Tuf gaming motherboard to mount a liquid cooling corsair system where I was missing the bracket I needed. Customer Review: Had a PC that had been in storage for a long period of time and needed a cooler replaced. This unit basically was plug and play on a PC that was built in 2011. Had zero compatibility issues and PC temps haven’t budged since. With Corsair’s known quality this should last the life of the PC and longer. The efficiency is noticeable and the sound isn’t, it is very quite for an AIO. It is a bit simple by todays standards of RGB and onboard diagnostics. If you need a simple effective upgrade this is it.

Great fan and heat-sink and at half the cost of the equivalent Noctua L9.Pros: great fan and heat-sink on a budget. Keeps the processor fairly cool. Idle (doing nothing) ~33C; normal usage (Netflix, Gmail, etc) ~ 40-45C; higher usage (games, etc) 55-60C. Not bad considering the price. I would have liked a few degrees cooler considering this is an “S” series CPU, but not terrible. I could probably knock off a few degrees with a Noctua L9 but at twice the cost and the L9 might not have fit my case, as it is just a touch bigger.Cons: honestly not many. I did notice that the fan is not silent, not overly loud, but not silent. Under load the fan is audible but not to the point of distraction. Oddly, the fan is quieter at a horizontal position than a vertical one… not sure why. The only other con is the coil-whine… yeah it is there; I did hear an audible coil-whine when I first started using this… it went away after about a week, but for a time I thought I was going mad… give it time and the coil-whine dissipates permanently (the whine is from the springs holding the sink to the board, I think).Overall, worth it!Just a note: I have seen reviews say they are using this for I7 CPUs and the like… I personally would not after the temps on my “S” series processor, but for lower watt CPUs, this is a good deal.

Customer Review: This is a good heatsink cooler for the slim form factor PC case. I used this for i5 4th ten CPU, and I had no issues with dissipating heat from the CPU. Fan is very silent and does the job well.The only thing I would mention is that this cooler may not work for some of those slim 1U chassis. This cooler is about 30mm, and then add the height of the motherboard + cpu, so the total height will be around 40mm to 45mm to fit into some 1U chassis.

Customer Review: If you need a great, basic cooler for your Intel chip that’s slightly better than the default cooler, look no further! Make sure you check to ensure your motherboard/processor are < 95W (so most of the relevant intel chips) and are one of the compatible sockets (again, most recent sockets) - once you do that, this CPU cooler is easy to install (install the backplate then screw in the 4 screws and plug in the fan header. Done.Couple of quick notes - first, this does use a backplate (unlike the push-pin based default included cooler) which means you’ll need to access the back of your motherboard. Not an issue if you’re installing a new motherboard in a new case, but if you’re replacing an existing cooler in a complete build, you may have to remove the motherboard if you don’t have access to the back of the board in the case. I actually like this as the install is much more secure that the push pins - and you know you have the right tension - but it is something to be aware of.Second, this does have pre-applied thermal paste which makes it easy to use. The thermal paste seems to be of reasonable quality and is well applied - I used it as is for the initial install, but ended up moving the chip to new board and having to use my own. Expected and no issues - but if you’re looking for a bit more performance, you might want to think about changing the paste. If you’re running stock clocks and not running at max all the time, the included paste should be just fine.Third and final consideration - this is not a cooler for overclockers. It can probably handle a minimal overclock - but it’s really designed to be cool and reasonably quiet at stock settings, voltages and the like and it does well at that.With those considerations out of the way, if you have a compatible chip and don’t mind the above caveats, this is a great cooler and highly recommend!

Customer Review: Great heat sync and fan! I was thinking it was going to be noisy because it’s a 3-pin, but surprisingly it’s not! It came with thermal paste pre-applied (Great to know because I didn’t need any extra or to apply any at all). Installation took about 5-10 minutes, fits perfectly into the bracket. Solid price for the product, hoping it lasts until 2030.
