As a piano player, all of my music is in an app. When I want to play, the iPad easily comes off allowing me to set it on my piano. This is, by far, the best screen/keyboard I’ve used for my iPad Pro.”

The cantilever viewing options are amazing, and the joints are very strong so the iPad stays in place. I love the different back light choices, and the track pad. They responded super fast, and asked for a picture of the problem. I thought they would send me a key replacement, but to my surprise they send me a BRAND NEW keyboard replacement – exactly the same model and color I had. Now THAT’s great customer service! Customer Review: “Excellent product, except I have to agree with complaints about the weight it added to the iPad. Although I won’t ding it any stars for the weight because I knew what I was getting into when I purchased. None of these keyboard cases are “lightweight” to be honest and add weight to the iPad. Yes, you can spend nearly $400 and get the Apple product and save SOME weight, but it is added weight nonetheless. With that said, the only lag I have found (which seems to be a complaint) is when the keyboard goes into sleep mode if left turned on. And yes, it makes it a little difficult to “find” the cursor, and get it moving, when using the trackpad to “wake” the keyboard up, that is super minor if you realize that it takes time for it to wake up and re-establish the Bluetooth connection. Again, it is not the $400 Apple keyboard that doesn’t use Bluetooth and never goes to “sleep” because it is hardware connected and uses the iPad battery for its power. The keys of the Type Case are well spaced for a guy with big mitts and are above average for their tactile feedback compared to others I’ve used on previous versions of iPads I have owned. Love the backlit keyboard colors and use the rotating color scheme on mine; although some colors are better than others at seeing the keys in low light situations. The Apple Pencil charging location is nice and protects the pencil from being knocked off the iPad. And I utilize the soft pencil holder for when the pencil is fully charged and I’m not using it; like when watching a movie or checking out YouTube videos. I cannot speak to the case’s protection capabilities because I haven’t dropped it and work hard to make sure I don’t because the case doesn’t appear to be capable of withstanding any kind of real fall, but I’m basing that on appearances only. Overall well worth the money and would purchase again if needed. I’ve used this product now for a little over a month and if there is any complaint, it is how stiff the hinge is when trying to open/close the keyboard, but if it wasn’t stiff, it probably wouldn’t hold up the iPad in various positions.”

Every time I typed, the touchpad was so sensitive, it would click on another line, so my entire text would be on a differently line. I also didn’t know I could change the color of my keyboard. I didn’t really figure out how to change it, but it didn’t bother me back then. I ended up coming back on here to see if anyone had the same problems as I did. I ended up reading through the description and honestly, I’m glad I did because I learned how to turn off the touchpad, which is a great relief. Now it’s been great. I don’t have any problems with it. The connection is fast and typing is easy. I’m so glad I rechecked because I honestly would have returned this because it was bothering me so much. I own the apple version and I’ve used it for 4 years, and I didn’t want to spend 100+ dollars again on it. This is not only cheap but has more features. Customer Review: “The texture of the case is very nice. It makes for it to be a little on the heavier side, which I like. I didn’t want it to be too light where when you open it up it would fall over unless you had your hands on the keyboard. I can flip it open all the way without it falling over. The key board wakes pretty quick after in sleep mode, just hit any key and it’s ready to go. The touch pad is pretty cool too, I can pretty much surf through my entire iPad without touching the iPad itself. It has IOS shortcut keys also, but I haven’t learned how to use all of them yet. The lighted keyboard is nice also, you have the option to have the keys with 3 sections of color – end, middle, and end in whatever section you want or just have a regular white lighted keypad. I like that one, that’s what I have mine on. I’ve seen reviews where people have said that the pencil holder on the side wasn’t that good, actually, I don’t use mine, I keep my pencil on the magnet on top of the iPad. I don’t carry my iPad around, it just sets on the table. I had one of those magnetized keyboards and your iPad basically tri-folded up to the keyboard, and I like this type a whole lot better. A hard-shell cover case. The ability to turn your iPad 360 degrees, is nice for when you need to have the iPad vertically for some things and apps, (reading, certain apps, etc.) Other than that, I don’t really turn my screen around to show my screen. This case is perfect for me and for what I use it for, I recommend this keyboard pretty highly. Second review: This is a really great keyboard for my iPad Air, liked it so much, I bought one for my wife, (the purple one). The purple one has white keys and the color mode, whatever color you use, seems to make it a little harder to see the letters, so my wife just leaves the color off. That would be the only thing I can say negative about this keyboard case. I’ve had my case for some time now, and everything is still great about it. The rotation spindle is still tight even after I rotate it a lot more than I thought I would. Keyboard operates perfectly, easily wakes, and still keeps a timely charge. I can’t see myself using my iPad without this case. If something should ever happen to this case, I will definitely get another one. The price is super reasonable for this keyboard case. I’ve had cases that cost more that aren’t even as good as this one. I can’t really say enough about this keyboard case, this is the ONLY one you’ll ever need for your iPad. Customer Review: “1st Impression: I was previously in the market for a new keyboard as at the time, I was just starting an accelerated Bachelor of Science Degree & needed a keyboard that could keep up with my busy life-to-be. In comes the apple keyboard for my iPad Pro. All I can say is, this did NOT disappoint. 4 years later, we have completed the entire Bachelors & a Masters Degree on this! FUNCTIONALITY: Lets face it, not all keyboards are created the same. This is a simple fact. The apple keyboard is so unbelievably user friendly & I can use the keys with minimal issues (If any). The keyboard pairs perfectly with my iPad & hasn’t given any problems over all of the years. This includes all of the many terms papers I’ve researched + written on here. DURABILITY: Apple products have held up over the years in my personal experience. When I decided to slurge on the $299 price tag, I had to know that this product not only deemed the purchase as “Worthy”, but held up to the rigorous experience ahead of it. After all, I bought this to assist me in the completion of a fast-paced degree. Thankfully, this did NOT disappoint in that test. As stated previously, even after all of the papers & research I’ve typed on here (Including this review), the keys have held up extremely well & have not faded even the slightest. I would absolutely tell me to go for it if they are on the fence about buying one of these for their devices. FIT: The apple keyboard fits the iPad Pro like a new pair of Bose NC headphones, just right & without any bulge. One part of the keyboard that I have come to love is the integrated charger port on the bottom left side. This especially comes in handy when charging the iPad so that I can use the iPad port to charge my iPhone or other electronics simultaneously. “THE VERDICT”: If you’re in the market for a good keyboard that’ll hold up to practically anything thrown at it, look no further than the iPad Pro keyboard. Customer Review: “Ok so this is my first Apple branded iPad keyboard. I bought my M2 Air a few weeks ago at microcenter and also picked up a logitech combo touch. I was happy with that case but soon enough was plagued with issues like the keyboard not connecting and having to reboot the iPad and connect the keyboard to the case a certain way. So annoying. I started looking at alternatives and was thinking about the ESR case but then stumbled upon the “used, like new” option on the magic keyboard. It just works. Pros: – Immediate connection. – No hassles; I can pull the iPad off and use it as a tablet and then snap it back onto the keyboard case with no issues reconnecting. – Looks good. I really like the cantilever effect when I open up the case. The iPad floating is kind of neat. – Typing experience: this is nice to type on, I’m fairly accurate even for an 11” iPad. It’s small, but that’s fine. I had a Duet 3 and it was about the same size. – Backlighting is perfect and I love the keys glowing just perfectly in a low light condition. Cons: – Weight. This thing makes the iPad kind of heavy, but I’ll be carrying it in a backpack for my upcoming trip so that’s not a big deal. – Size. I have the 11” and it’s a little small, but like I said above, I came from a Duet 3 and it was about the same size. – Price. Holy cats, I bought this as a ”used, like new” and it was still $200. – No edge protection. That’s the only advantage the logitech offered. – No flap for the Apple Pencil. This is a niggle and if I want it, I can buy an ESR case with the flap to hold the pencil. Overall? This is a great option for a keyboard to turn your iPad into a semi-laptop/netbook. Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. I love it! The magnet is always a big selling point when buying cases for this iPad (iPad Pro M4 13-inch) and this works great! Keys are nice and trackpad works amazing! Almost seamless connectivity! Open to wake feature is great as well! The color is good, I mean you can’t go wrong with black 🙂 My only pet peeve is that I feel as if the trackpad click is heavy and tough. Again, only a pet peeve as it’s still amazing. I would prefer it a little softer, almost like a haptic feedback but the product is still amazing. I also feel that it might get dirty easily cause of the material.
