Now to be honest I’ know the saying you get what you pay for. To a point that can be true because I purchased two backpacks that cost around 25.00 for one and the other was thirty give or take. They were both horrible. One of them ripped inside on the seam the first week and the other was too flimsy and felt cheap. So I bought one in black, the smaller one that is 25 liters. It is of very good quality and the padding is very good! The straps are wide and comfortable and the back padding is distributed very well. There are many pockets with well thought out organization. I pack the bag very full mainly using it for work. Surprisingly when it is fully packed it feels light on my back. I would definitely recommend this bag to everyone that is not a label whore!

I returned 4 immediately and the 5th one after use on one trip because arriving was coming apart in multiple places. I decided to just get a Wenger bag because I’m familiar with their quality. Luckily picked this up used for about half price however after seeing it compared to all the others I ordered, it’s well worth full price. It checks all the boxes with the external USB port, sternum strap, elevated laptop section for max protection, TSA/scansmart feature, bottle holder and large main storage area. Someone in another review said the shoe compartment was very small but this is not true (I was actually able to fit 2 pairs of size 11 Hey Dudes in it). For a test of it’s capacity I packed it up as of I was going for a weekend trip. Below is everything I fit in it… TSA section – Laptop, charger, wireless mouse, network cable Sunglass/Quick Access pocket – spare battery pack, tic tacs, ear buds, ear plugs Main section – 2 tee shirts, 2 pairs of shorts/socks/underwear, very large battery pack connected to the external USB port, charging cables. Shoe compartment – I don’t often travel with extra shoes so I used this for my shave bag which includes all the typical stuff including a head shaver and an electric razor. This way, I could have access to it without needing to unpack the clothes on top of it. Organizer pocket – pens, lens cleaner clothes, business cards, hand sanitizer. Still had a lot of room available. Front pocket – this is the one with the vertical zipper. I didn’t put anything in it but it works be perfect for snacks. I had all this packet up and I weighed it to be about 17 lbs. I wore it around for about 15 minutes and it was extremely comfortable. I could feel the elastic in the chest strap and the suspension feature in the shoulder straps doing their job. Had zero shoulder or neck strain. About the only negative thing I could say is that if you put a water bottle in the mesh pocket, it great reduces anything you could put in the insulated pocket. I looked at about 10 other bags between ones I had ordered from Amazon and checked out in stores and this is by far the best one.

The backpack is spacious, has enough storage for all electronics and other handy emergency accessories such as but not limited to first aid kit, couple of water bottles up to at least 4-5” diameter, holds a laptop that’s 17” perfectly and includes a pouch for tablet up to 8”, the straps are adjustable for comfort between different sized adults (5’3” to 6’1”) and most importantly the color. Love the black and white combination with the white sections being reflective helps while wearing it and walking in the dark. The front two pockets have lots of space for smaller items such as notepads, pens, passport and other small stationery items. Overall, 5 stars isn’t an exaggeration but very well deserved for such a backpack that adds lot of value for the price. If you need a new backpack for laptop or for any other reason, look no further and get this one! Always love a good Swiss Gear product!

The laptop is safely snug against your back, with a separate central, main storage space and then the front top zippered section is well set apart and perfectly sized to hold my lunch. Who it’s for- People with a lot of small items that need organizing to keep things separate Who it’s not for- Someone who wants a huge bag to dump bulky items in. My use case- I use this bag for work as an aircraft painter, and I am a tech nerd who likes to read. This bag has a ton of pockets, I use one for a phone charger / wallet / keys and anything else small I need day to day, one for utensils/ snacks, one for work tools like a screw driver / knife and flashlight, one for a sweater and change of shirt and the flat pocket at the back for my iPad or laptop and a magazine or book. Pros- Super great for organization, looks great, awesome build quality, lightweight, built in charging cables are so far super durable, plenty of room in the bigger pocket for random knick knacks, enough space to use as an overnight bag for a day or two if needed. Cons- Ships folded and takes about a week to get its shape, and the stupid water bottle pocket is useless for anything other than a 16oz plastic water bottle. I have an 18oz yeti rambler insulated bottle (super small) and it doesn’t even get close to fitting, I make cut the liner out and use it as a pass through pocket.

I am transitioning from full-time barista and student to full-time electrical engineer and I wanted a backpack that I could take with me to work that fit my belongings that wasn’t my torn school bag. I typically carry a lot of tech, and I was looking for a bag that I could fit two computers in. I am able to fit two computers, one 17 inch pc, and one macbook air, as well as my ipad air, and expandable file folder, notebook a bag that has various charging cords and my calculator, a pencil bag, an umbrella, a makeup bag, a sweater, basic toiletries, my water bottle (32 oz hydroflask), my over the ear headphones, and some snacks in that bag and it still doesn’t feel overstuffed. The straps seem to be of good quality, and I love that it has a carry-loop and a trolly strap. I don’t utilize all of the pockets because I am more of a “small bags in big bags” kind of person, but this bag has a lot of pockets that you can use a lot of different, versatile, ways (though, I do love how deep the smallest front pocket is. I can fit my keys and sunglasses in there no problem). I use the RFID pocket for my wallet and work badge. and am so thankful it keeps those things secure. The main pocket is much more spacious than I had previously anticipated. I was worried this backpack would be too small, but its actually perfect. The charging port is nice, though, thats a feature that I don’t often use in backpacks. I think its a little oddly placed. I haven’t yet used it for travel though, so I may feel differently about it then. Anyway, I am picky about bags, and this passes my tests, and its about a quarter of the price and bigger than any of the other bags I was looking at. You should totally get it!

Customer Review: This is my first stylish backpack in my adult life. In the past, I considered function over fashion which is boring yet corporate friendly. As an entrepreneur, I was looking for an upgrade that could be fashionable, yet practical for a variety of working locations. This backpack is sturdy. It can stand up with very little or nothing inside of it due to the firmer exterior. The zippers, stitching, padding, handle and straps are well constructed. The overall backpack would make a great personal item while traveling. It is comfortable and not bulky. Overall, my Dell XPS15 and mobile accessories fit nicely with my planner and calendar with room to spare. I love all the pockets and slots to stay organized. My Owala Free Sip Sway fits nicely in the side pocket with no issues. For a higher end backpack, it appears to be worth the investment. I cannot wait to see how this bag holds up a digital nomad!
