Customer Review: I’ve had a pair of these headphones since 2020. They’ve lasted me for a long, long time. I’ve come back 5 years later to get me another pair, because only recently, the leather ear pads have started to peel off, and the mic got kinda worn out. Of course, these are only cosmetic problems. The mic works excellently, and my friends have even randomly just been like “Wow, how is your voice so clear”. It’s great. The sound quality is just as good as new. I’ve put these headphones through the ringer and they still work just fine. So if any of you particularly rage-prone gamers out there get you a pair of these headphones, I’m pretty confident they’ll survive an intimate high speed collision with your drywall. In all seriousness though, if you treat them well, I can see ’em lasting years longer than they lasted for me. Along with that, these headphones are a great budget option, especially if you don’t like rolling the dice on those unknown Chinese manufacturers that plague Amazon. For $40, I can’t think of a better option for a set of gaming headphones.

Customer Review: I have had these for over two years now and really can’t complain about much. I play video games and stream with them and have gotten comments on how nice and clear my mic is. Audio: I think the audio is pretty standard. Not the best you’ll ever hear in life but in this price range it’s amazing. I’ve been jump scared a few times not being able to hear someone come up to my desk so the noise cancelling is pretty decent. Mic: I thought that maybe I needed to upgrade my mic but I haven’t found anything aside upgrading to an external mic that tops this. I love the flip to mute ability and use it frequently. Comfort: I usually start to feel the tiniest discomfort after about 5-6 hours which is plenty time for me most of the time. I have worn them longer and it’s not painful but just a little sore when I take them off. They are on the lighter side and adjust nicely. Longevity: There’s some slight wear on the headband part but that just started after all this time and they do rest on a holder in that spot. I did have some issues with sound stopping out of one earphone at one point, I think something became loose and so I just have to keep the volume scroll wheel on the actual headset in a certain spot now but it’s not a problem because I never used that to control the volume anyway. It hasn’t stopped working in a few months now. Overall: Despite some minor issues these headphones have done really well for me and are better than other headsets I’ve tried that may be similarly priced. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new gaming headset.

Customer Review: I bought this to replace my broken original in September of 2025. I destroyed the controller they give you, but the headphones are fine. These do the job just fine. I compared the sound quality of my old headphones and these ones and I cannot tell the difference, granted I cannot test the old controller anymore. You see I originally ordered this in July of 2019. That model, made under the old company, held up just fine. It was my favorite and had an amazing sound to it, especially when you activated its surround sound mode. Since the company was bought by HP I was skeptical about what I’d get this time. The new model is made with less materials, feels lighter, and doesn’t extend as far as the old one. It still fits me fine though. I am someone with a big head and so that was a big reason I loved the HyperX Cloud II’s design. The mic is still very low, like the original manufacturer’s. I recommend using a program like Voicemeter to boost your gain on it. When you do that it works perfectly. In the end it feels like the same exact headphones. So if you are an owner of the old model that is near the end of its life and want another, then this is a safe purchase. I am happy with this and hope it will last me another 6 years or more. It’s a great sound, a great value, and pretty long lasting.

Customer Review: This headset is pretty great, I have just finished testing it on a PS4, XB1, and a desktop pc. Here is what I can tell you about my experience. First, the packaging is superb and upon opening this headset, it simply oozes with quality. As others have stated, the build quality is fantastic and there are plenty of extras to make this a very high value purchase for the price. The second big thing is the sheer comfort of this headset. I am wearing it now because it is so comfortable. Kingston also gives you the choice of leatherette or a plush type padding to switch out with. Now for the third big important portion for most, how the headset sounds. I first tested this on my PS4 and this works with the usb connection to the console or the direct small plug into the controller. Both connections performed the same because the 7.1 DAC will not work on the PS4, but do not let that deter you from using this headset on your console of choice. The Cloud II is simply better than anything Sony or Microsoft branded not to mention any of the Turtle Beach headsets I own. The Cloud headset sounded really good on the PS4 with great mid and good bass, but the bass in my opinion is a tad bit low. For the Xbox One, I simply fired up Forza Horizon 2 and used the headset adapter. The sound is much cleaner than the Microsoft Stereo Headset and I can hear more detail than with previous headsets. As for the pc, the sound is great as well. I went into a session of Neverwinter because I enjoy the music and I created a character to test the 7.1 DAC which worked really well. Overall, you are not going to find a better value with this versatility. Of all my owned headsets, the only one that is close is the Sony Gold and the Cloud II in my opinion is much better. This has to be one of the best gaming headsets. Sound is subjective to each person, so for my needs and versatility it was a must buy as I plan on gaming on all three platforms this year.

Customer Review: The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless is an astonishing product. I have the OG Cloud III Wireless and they’re amazing themselves. I hesitated when I heard and saw reviews of this thing of people saying this is actually better than the OG. I paused and thought no way…. so I thought to myself I’ll try these to see if the reviews are true to form, then I’ll likely return them within the 30 day window. So here they are, and they’re seriously IMPRESSIVE!!! I want to say that the sound on these is legit. Absolutely legit. The mids and highs are improved and crystal clear. The bass is newly tuned and doesn’t sound “muddy” to where it drowns out the mids. It’s just perfect now and sounds natural.
