Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I absolutely loved this gaming combo. The keyboard is incredibly responsive, and the RGB lighting looks amazing, especially when I’m gaming at night. The mouse is super comfortable, precise, and lightweight—perfect for long sessions without hand fatigue. The mouse pad is a great size and allows the mouse to glide smoothly.

Customer Review: I’ve only clocked a few hours with this set and so far I am pleasantly awed! Keyboard: As one who is generally a “keyboard snob;” I love how smooth the keys are for gaming. It feels different than my preferred typewriter-style boards for work and writing, so it’s refreshing to have an effortless experience for rapid clicks in-game. This keyboard also has a few light color options and my goodness do I LOVE. The overall design is clean, crisp, ergonomic, and pleasing to the eyes. I’m also smitten that the cursor keys’ symbols are rockets, instead of traditional arrows. Mouse: The size is splendid for my hands, responds admirably, and of course I’m a sucker for the multi-color oscillating lights. The one thing that would make this mouse perfect would be back and forth side buttons, but I’m not about to complain. Headset: As long as I remember to take out dangly earrings this headset is comfortable and easy to wear. The mic feels a bit close to the face, but I can be heard clearly in-game, so the design works for its function. I’m impressed by the sound and must have missed the description about ‘deep bass,’ as I was not expecting to hear and feel the drop in my bones! Overall, this [set] exceeded my expectations for the price and recommend for anyone wanting/needing a good accessory-array on a budget.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I’d never had wireless keyboards or mice until recently. Wanting to get away from “wire spaghetti” on my desk made getting a set a logical choice. The first one I bought was from SABLUTE, yeah, I hadn’t heard of it either but it sounded good in the reviews. Within the first day I noticed that the keys were sticking. Within the first week I noticed that the paint on the clear keys for the backlighting was wearing through. I returned it to Amazon. THEN I bought this set. It was a little more pricey but at least it was a brand I could find a real webstore for! Once I received it I charged them completely before trying them out. There was no more sticking keys & so far there’s no sign of wear on the keys either. It is a full size keyboard. The mouse is full size as well. (I hate the mini-mice!) The buttons on both the mouse & KB are GREAT. I’m still getting used to adjusting my mouse speed & using the side buttons for going back & forth on my browser. Functionally, I can’t complain at all! The build quality is quite obviously superior to the other brand. I have to charge my mouse more than the I do the keyboard but the batteries on both seem pretty good, for the moment. The only downside is that if you use both mouse & KB controls be careful about the keyboard falling asleep. It can take five to ten seconds to reconnect so make sure you toggle keys frequently to keep it awake for if you’re going to be gaming with these. The key takeaway is that this KB is of higher quality than the competitor brands here on Amazon, at least compared to the other I tried & is worth the ten or so extra bucks.

Customer Review: If you can spare two USB ports, this set is a fantastic bargain. Maybe there’s more customization on more expensive gaming keyboards – this is my first step into the field. However, everything works great and I honestly have no complaints. It exceeded my expectations so far (A month or two of use so far).2020 Update: I liked my first Redragon set enough to buy a second set for at work. The price is still right, and everything still looks and feels great. A few things have changed, though. The keyboard is now RGB backlit rather than plain unlit keys with red LED embellishments. There are FN controls to regulate the “breathing” (light-dark pulsing) of the keyboard, which is good because I found it distracting. The included instruction booklet lists these key combinations. FN+END pauses and unpauses breathing. FN+PGDN enables and disables the backlight entirely. FN+PGUP rotates through 3 still rainbow lighting arrangements. FN+HOME rotates through 7 monochromatic colors (white, blue, red, green, purple, yellow, and cyan). FN+INS smoothly transitions through the 7 colors over the course of a few seconds, though to my eyes the brightness was uneven. FN+UP and FN+DN scale through 4 levels of brightness, and FN+LEFT and FN+RIGHT scale through 4 speeds of animation. For my money, the backlight will be kept motionless on a monochrome light, but to each their own. All told, very happy with the keyboard. It also features two new sets of buttons above the F-row, which are oddly not backlit. The set to left of center includes links to My Computer, Search, Refresh, Email, Calculator, and Home Page. The keys to the right are media controls for Stop, Last Track, Play/Pause, and Next Track. These are all fine, but unnecessary since the F-row already has FN shortcuts to most of these things, and the topmost row, again, isn’t backlit. And we have the mouse. It feels identical to the previous mouse, though it has 4 DPI settings rather than 3. There’s a catch though, which is that the mouse backlight (red only) is set to “breathe” by default. To disable this, you’ll need to download software from the Redragon support page. Although my mouse and keyboard both list their parts # as S101-3, the mouse is actually a M601-3 CENTROPHORUS. You’ll need to download the drivers for this mouse in order to disable breathing. All the way left on the software’s slider will disable the light fully, and all the way right will leave it permanently backlit (my preference). The other new thing with the mouse is that a LED flashes when you change DPI; it’s flash speed correlating to how high the DPI is. It seems unnecessary but harmless. All told, my first impression is that the addition of pulsing lights just makes first time setup harder as you need to track down the software for the mouse and learn the keyboard controls. I want to take off a half point for the mouse not having a hardware option to disable the light, but all told I’ll keep my rating at a 5 as the backlit keys are actually an improvement once you learn how to freeze them.*****2023 update – I deep cleaned the mouse some time ago and since it was beginning to wear off, I removed the painted black dragon silhouette from the mouse where the palm lies, revealing clear plastic underneath. Don’t do that. The reason being, that my palm has slowly developed an irritation which has lasted weeks directly where that LED is closest when holding the mouse. I just now connected the dots and opened it again to insert some paper on top of it, but if my hand doesn’t clear up within a week I’ll remove the LED entirely and see if that helps. (Photo doesn’t really do justice to the palm, but anyway trust me it’s not great to keep LEDs millimeters from your skin without filtration of some kind.) I’ll update if this does/doesn’t resolve things.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The keyboard and mouse ,really great products ,very quiet, pressing the the keys and controls really felt like I was using a $500 gaming set up , i purchased this gaming pack for my daughter ,and she loved it ,only problem was the first pack I got for her the LED lights were faulty, shutting off ,or only lighting 1/2 the key board ,ordered another and did the same thing

Customer Review: Keyboard looks great and works ok for a couple of hours. Then the lights start to flicker and it has to be restarted several times by turning the power on and off. Not sure what to do about that.Edit: Ok, so here is the deal, I finally figured out this thing doesn’t have any indication that it needs charging other than wigging out like I described above. If you plug it up and let it charge a while when you’re using it every few days, (ours gets used a good bit) it works great.

The keyboard is comfortable to type on, with smooth and quiet keys. The RGB lighting looks great and is easy to adjust. The mouse fits nicely in my hand, is lightweight, and responds quickly. Customer Reviews

Customer Review: They are standard keyboards, but they light up. As long as the computer is active, so is the keyboard. It seems very durable. My son’s received this as accessories to a gift for Christmas and have not stopped using them. They were excited that it all came in a triple pack. It’s a nice purchase and looks cool. Functionality is exactly as expected for a mouse and keyboard. I purchased two and have not needed to return either and believe me they get used!

Customer Review: I bought this because I am a hard coder and it is only after night time when everything and everyone is settled down and is quiet that i can focus and concentrate on writing and testing complex code that takes until wee hours of morning. While i am a fast typist when it comes to typing words, I sometimes need to see the keyboard keys for special characters required for coding without jumping up and down turning on and off bright lights. Since the keys are not painted on for character identification but are transparent for light to show through there is less worry about the key labels rubbing off. One extra feature i especially like is not only can i lock my screen on my computer with the win + L available on most windows keyboards but i can also prevent little toddler hands from pressing keys and seriously setting my programming back months by locking the keyboard with the fn +f11 key combo which causes the keys to have no effect when pressed. Press again to turn keys back on. Something that may not be obvious to a non gamer like me regarding the headset is the jacks are required for the operation of the headphones and mic whereas the usb should also be plugged in for the headphones to light up. It would be better if the split cords for those were a bit longer. They barely reached my jacks and usb plug. I also am a radio dj so I thought the headphones and mic would be a bonus. However the sound quality in my experience is very poor and the mic output has a lot of distortion so am still stuck using the old ones for that but will keep working on my computer settings in hopes of coming upon a fix or improvement. While i have small hands i prefer a full size mouse like this one and I also prefer a keyboard and mouse that plug in rather than wireless so batteries don’t go dead in the middle of the night when it seems to be the worst time and all my spares have been used. It would be better if the mouse cord were a few inches longer though and it would have been nice to be able to turn off the lights on the mouse like can be done with the keyboard. I have been using the keyboard and mouse daily for many hours over the last few months without issues. I hope you find my review helpful 🙂

Pros and Cons

  • Full-size keyboard with excellent key rollover
  • Mouse pad design is stylish and functional
Cons:
  • Headset audio is good but not great
  • Wired setup requires two USB ports
  • Mouse scroll wheel can be noisy

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I needed a new set of peripherals for my computer, i wanted something with back lighting so i could do some uh… “important school work” late night without missing keys. Long story short, this is a very ideal combo for the price, the lighting is adequate, the keyboard feels great (a good step up from a basic laptop keyboard for sure) and the mouse feels just right in my hand. The mouse pad is amazing, i love the feel and the design and the overall quality, i wish it was longer so i could have it all across my desk. The headset has a poor build quality, feels pretty cheap (which it is) but it can deliver quite the sound, not powerful but it gets the job done well, has a good amount of bass and speech is pretty crisp, just not refined, it also does a good job at noise cancelling when listening to music on max volume, couldn’t hear anything else. Lighting modes on the keyboard are okay for me and are bright enough, mouse light can’t be changed but that doesn’t bother me, you can set the breathing speed on it though through software found on their website, The software is free. Pros: Cheap Decent quality Great mousepad Great value for money Good feel, not too cheap Cons: Headset build quality is poor but workable Overall great quality, great value for money, great feel on keyboard, mouse and mouse pad, great audio quality for price. I would highly recommend if you’re running low on funds or forgot to include peripherals in your PC budget and need something cheap semi-permanently. I am satisfied, you will be too. Update: After 2 years of daily use and moderate gaming and school work, everything still “works”! After about a year, the ear cups for the headset, as expected, have begun shedding and I find it uncomfortable to use like that so I hardly use it, it still works though. The mouse is still almost as good as it was when I purchased it, though sometimes it does double click when click once. I’ve cleaned the keyboard once at this point, however it’s begun misbehaving. Sometimes when I stroke certain keys, they’ll appear twice on the screen when I know I only pressed the key once. This is most notable with punctuation and with number keys, and a little less frequently with letter keys. This is annoying as I have to really be careful when typing passwords because I could have some unintentional doubles in there and sometimes it gets really bad. All things considered, for the price of the product, and based on the fact that I’m still using it to this day, my 5 star rating remains true. Definitely recommend! maybe for a bit shorter term use though

Customer Review: 8 years later, everything in this package is fully functional and reliable. The mouse pad is like new while my desk surface has been destroyed. I am genuinely impressed.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. This is my first gaming Mech Keyboard from Redragon, and so far this being my first, this is the best gaming keyboard I have ever owned. Weight is great. No lag when I game. It has the perfect quietness level, not completely silent but if you were in a echo chamber you would barely hear it (a slight exaggeration but you get the point) 9/10 for quietness. The buttons are perfect and feel great. Keyboard size is perfect for me because I’m a bigger person, my hands side by side spread out cover 95-100% of a regular sized keyboard so I like wide keyboards I don’t like the small ones. Looks great for my first gaming mech keyboard, I don’t have another gaming keyboard to compare it to that I own. RGB colors and modes are great, you can download the software to control the colors and modes off the retail website “Redragon shop” not Redragon Zone” site. The software for this keyboard won’t show up on the zone site, it is only on the shop site and called something else. The mouse works perfectly, no lag and I love the RGB colors. The RGB colors for mouse match the keyboard. Again my hands are big so a majority of mice feel small in my hands this one included. It isn’t a small mouse by any means but for me it could be bigger, which would make it more comfortable. Overall the is a Perfect buy for the price a 10/10. You will not be disappointed.

Customer Review: Works perfectly for my Xbox Series X using the included receiver. I got it for 7 Days to Die because controller on that game is awful. I’ve had issues with wireless keyboards having bad input lag, but with this keyboard it feels like its wired! Same deal with the mouse. I was honestly surprised at the price point. Also, you can change the color of the keyboard (maybe the mouse too?) which is neato. I haven’t had any issues with the battery life. All keys seem to work good, comfortable, and quiet at that. Mouse is spot on and pairs effortlessly with the keyboard. Can’t recommend enough.

9. Redragon S107 Gaming Keyboard Mouse Combo

Complete Buying Guide for Keyboard Mouse Gaming Bundle

Essential Factors We Consider

When choosing a keyboard mouse gaming bundle, the first decision is wired vs. wireless. Wired offers zero latency and no battery worries, ideal for competitive play. Wireless provides desk cleanliness and portability, with modern 2.4GHz options now having near-wired latency. Next, consider the keyboard switch type: membrane (quiet, soft) vs. mechanical (tactile, audible, durable). For mice, focus on DPI range (sensitivity), weight, and ergonomic shape. Also, check for included extras like a wrist rest, mouse pad, or headset, which can drastically increase value. Finally, ensure software customization is available if you want to sync RGB or program macros.

Budget Planning

You can find a functional gaming keyboard and mouse combo for under $50, like the BlueFinger or All-in-One bundle, but expect basic build quality. The sweet spot for quality and features is $50-$100, where you’ll find excellent wired bundles from Redragon and RedThunder with good RGB and anti-ghosting. Over $100, you get premium materials, advanced wireless tech (like Bluetooth/2.4G tri-mode), and hot-swappable switches. Set a budget based on your priority: pure performance (wired, high DPI), convenience (wireless), or aesthetics (RGB). Remember, the best bundle is the one that meets your specific gaming needs without paying for unused features.

Final Thoughts

A keyboard and mouse gaming bundle is the smartest way to build a cohesive gaming setup. It simplifies your purchase, guarantees matching aesthetics, and almost always saves money compared to buying peripherals separately. Our top pick, the Hornet RX-250, gives you everything in one box with reliable wired performance. For those wanting wireless, the RedThunder K10 is unbeatable. Competitive players should lean towards the Redragon S107 or S107KS. No matter your choice, you’re getting a significant upgrade over basic office peripherals. Focus on your must-have features—be it zero lag, wireless freedom, or RGB bling—and pick the bundle that excels there. Happy gaming!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is a gaming keyboard and mouse bundle worth it?

A: Absolutely. Bundles offer significant cost savings, coordinated design, and often include valuable extras like a mouse pad or headset. They’re perfect for new PC gamers or anyone wanting a matched aesthetic without the hassle of shopping for each item separately.

Q: Should I choose a wired or wireless gaming bundle?

A: Choose wired for competitive gaming where every millisecond of latency matters and you never want to worry about batteries. Choose wireless for a clean desk setup, portability, or if you primarily play casual games. Modern 2.4GHz wireless has improved dramatically and is now very responsive.

Q: What’s more important: keyboard switch type or mouse DPI?

A: It depends on your games. For fast-paced shooters (FPS), a high-DPI, lightweight mouse with a reliable sensor is critical. For MMOs, RPGs, and typing-heavy games, a comfortable keyboard with programmable macro keys (often mechanical) is more important. A good bundle balances both.

Q: Do I need software for these bundles?

A: Most basic bundles are plug-and-play. However, for RGB customization, macro programming, and DPI adjustment beyond on-the-fly buttons, you’ll need to download the manufacturer’s software (like Redragon’s). This software is usually free and only needed for initial setup if you want to change defaults.

Q: Can I use these bundles with consoles like Xbox or PlayStation?

A: Yes, most wired USB bundles will work with Xbox and PlayStation consoles for basic functionality (keyboard navigation, mouse control in supported games). However, advanced features like macro programming or specific RGB controls may only work on PC. Always check the product listing for console compatibility.
