First, it’s all XLR, which means you’ll need an IO to get it via USB into your PC/Mac. The package comes with a shockmount and cute little windscreen. Get the package – any mic this caliber that comes with a shockmount for 3 bills is a danged steal! The windscreen is OK if you don’t move a lot of air or pop your P’s. I went with an aftermarket beast that actually fits over the whole mic, blocks some off-axis noise, yet is still wonderfully transparent. How does it sound? With a little EQ and maybe some final processing, you’ll be VERY pleased with the sound you get for what you paid! I’ve got this one pre-amp’d through a Great River ME-INV which gives it all the boost it needs and provides its needed phantom power.
