Customer Review: Ordered these around November 10th, delivered as indicated on 12th, packed well & arrived in good shape. I immediately put them on a charger as indicated prior to use. I usually am up 2 to 3 hours prior to my wife. The 13th I paired these with the Dish 3 Hopper. Most days since, I used them an hour or two to watch recordings of shows. Today is February 25th & I got the 1st notice of low power. I have put them back on the charger for 1st time since the original arrival charge. I rate these 5 Stars for living up to time between charges. Note, using several hours at a time, versus 1 or 2 may increase rate of discharge.Performance listening to music is also excellent. I was also pleased with quality on listening to YouTube Music in 8D & greater tunes. I lost a lot of hearing in left ear in Vietnam. I swear in those songs, my left ear appears to be working again. Again, 5 Stars for audio performance for Music & TV Shows/Movies.I find these headphones great for comfort & they fit over my ears fine. However, one having larger ears than I may find a tighter fit. Other reviewers have noted this. For me, 5 Stars for comfort!Only nit I’d pick, is this model does not support showing remaining power level in the App. However, headphones do have a verbal low power warning. I received this today with about 40 minutes left in a TV recording. I was able to finish watching it with a couple more warning. I turned headphones off at end & put them on the charger. Despite App not showing power left, the verbal warning is sufficient. I would like to see JBL indicate in specifications that this model does not support sending App Power Level Remaining. Still, would rate 5 Stars overall with this one caveat.

Customer Review: I really like these headphones. They cancel out the noise very well and they are comfortable to wear. The blue tooth connection was simple to setup and it works flawlessly. The sound is great. Maybe I am not the best evaluator of headphones because I do not use them a lot, but I feel like I received great value for these inexpensive headphones.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Firstly, the color is soon cute, and exactly as pictured. I am so in love with the aesthetic of them. They also came fully charged, which was awesome so I got to use them immediately.Secondly, the quality is super good so far. Whether listening to podcasts, rap, or metal music, the sound quality has been perfect. They are compatible with both my switch 2 and my phone which is to be expected, but still happy there were no surprises or difficulties there. They aren’t exactly noise canceling though. When they’re on with no sound playing, other sounds are just dulled ever so slightly. When sound is playing, you can still hear people talking and other sounds like fans, but outside sounds aren’t obtrusive and are blocked fairly well.I also really like how big the ear holes in the pads are, I wasn’t expecting that. My whole ear fits inside them, which makes them super comfortable since they aren’t smooshing the tops of my ears into the arms of my glasses. It also makes them really comfortable to wear while laying down, again because they don’t smoosh my ears.I haven’t had them long enough to really put them through the paces on charging or audio hours, but I will come back to add to this review a little later to comment on that.So far, so amazingly good! Super pleased with the quality for the price I paid.

Customer Review: The BERIBES Bluetooth Headphones are a standout choice for anyone seeking high-quality audio without the premium price tag. The most impressive feature is undoubtedly the massive 65-hour playtime, which allows for over a week of casual listening on a single charge—perfect for long work weeks or travel. Sound enthusiasts will appreciate the 6 EQ modes (ranging from Rock and Pop to Vocal and Deep Bass), which let you customize the profile to match your genre of choice at the touch of a button. Despite their durable build, they are incredibly lightweight and feature soft memory-protein ear cushions, making them comfortable for all-day wear in a home office or during a commute. With a reliable Bluetooth 5.3 connection and a clear built-in microphone for calls, these headphones offer a level of versatility and performance that truly punches above their weight class. Highly recommended!!!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I have used a wide variety of headphones including both wired and wireless headphones. I don’t like wired headphones, because they are quite cumbersome, very inconvenient and not noise cancelling. I also used to wireless headphones of Apple. They are so good, but it is easy for me to forget or lose, and their battery life is not what I expected. My criteria for buying a headset are good battery life, comfort when using, good sound quality. After a while for searching a headphone online based on my criteria, I found the right headphones for me, which are wireless over-the-ear headphones. The wireless over-the-ear headphones help you move freely without worrying about getting tangled or entangled in objects, with noise cancelling, it is light and very comfortable while using. These things are especially useful for doing housework, jogging and working.I begin to search a few types of headphones on Amazon. My budget to buy a new headphone about under 100 dollars. With this budget, I found quite a few quality headphones brands. Such as, Bose, Sony, JBL, Marshall… After a while, read reviews and compare the types of headphones with each other. I chose Sony WH-CH720N headphones for 88 dollars on Amazon. After using this headphone for about 5 months. I feel it worth the money spent. I like these advantages of it. Such as, good battery life (35 hours with noise cancelling), good noise cancelling, good quality sound (I can customize the sound quality according to my preferences through the app of the headphones). In addition, it has a lot of colors to choose and light weight (comfortable for using a long time). Although, I even don’t like a few things about this headphone as it is made of plastic so it is very scratchy, there is no headphone case.Sometimes, I also use it when travelling by plane, when I travel by plane, I often have tinnitus and very tired of the surrounding noise. But since using these headphones to fly, I have eliminated a lot of tinnitus and noise; it both entertains me and helps me sleep on the plane. I’m also quite impressed with its durability because I sometimes drop it when I don’t notice, but it’s scratched a little bit, not dented. This headset comes with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm microphone audio cable. It is very reasonable to spend on gaming, when connecting the cable, the sound delay will not be available, which will make the gaming experience more interesting. When I bought this headphone, the price was very good, only 88 dollars, usually I see that the price of this headphone about 179 dollars. The price of this headphone like a robbery.Overall, this headphone is a very good headphone in the price range. It fully meets the requirements that I wanted before buying it such as comfort, good sound quality, long battery life, good noise cancelling. Its disadvantages do not affect my experience too much. It’s a great headphone. I believe that if you choose it, it will not disappoint you. I will rate this headphone 4.5 stars.

Customer Review: found a deal so decided to splurge a little out of my typical <$40 range. first thing was box felt empty, they are so incredibly lightweight my little spectrum/migraine sensitive head was so happy, super duper plus! second, they actually comfortably fit my small adult head (I wear child size hats,) amazing because that is rarely the case and the number one reason for all my other returns! connected to bluetooth easy, prompted for app download, easy to follow set-up prompts for this old non tech savvy gal. NC seems decent enough but not great, it's an important feature to me but we'll see. I didn't custom set anything yet and sound was really good for my typical goth/techno/EDM. it also prompted to a 360 sound app- omg that was some crazy amazing quality but not venturing there at this time- but obviously these headphones have some quality to them sound wise. I usually have no issue with buying returns, and these were ok but definitely not mint, nor in a box, nor came with even the correct charger which was all that was included, and took 2 months to arrive (late) from the same coast I'm located- I'm least happy with the wait, seriously why?! the surprise was they were blue- I was settling for black because of the deal, and ended up with what I preferred! so if they last all-in-all twas probably worth the major discount and wait, if they don't then I'd probably still search them out again because it's taken a literal year and 24 pairs of exhausting headphone trials and returns to find something that actually fits and is lightweight and comfortable to boot~ WOOWOO! I kinda want to dock a star for the NC and not being honestly listed but for now I am definite 5 stars happy!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I went through a half dozen pair of other options that were less pricey before settling on these. Other versions, I tried lasted, at most, a couple of months, before they broke. One pair broke while I was removing it from my head. Then I found these Sony headphones, which were a total game changer! I still have the first pair I purchased, which have lasted me for more than a year; and I recently purchased a second pair in another color for the office. They are such good quality, very comfortable, easy to adjust to fit children and adults, the sound quality is phenomenal, and they are easy to pair with your devices! I have used them for everything from Zoom calls, to music, listening, and beyond, without any issues. Several people at the office have ordered themselves a pair because they’re so great, and they have loved them as well! If you’re struggling to find headphones that last and/or can survive your kids’ wear and tear, look no further! These are well worth the money and they last, and look great! So far, I’ve ordered these in the blue color and the beige/cream color, and both are lovely, and do not look cheap at all. Highly recommend!

Customer Review: I bought these Sony WH-CH520 wireless headphones as a gift for my daughter, and she ended up loving them. She uses them every day.The sound quality is really good, and the Bluetooth range works well around the house. They seem sturdy and well-made, which is important since they get used a lot. They also do a good job blocking out noise. In fact, sometimes they work a little too well because she can’t hear me when I call her from the other room. The ear support looks comfortable, and she hasn’t had any complaints wearing them for long periods.Overall, they feel like a good value, especially if you catch them on sale, and they’ve held up well with daily use.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I recently purchased the Bose QuietComfort headphones and they are exceptional. They arrived with a high quality protective case, which was a great first impression. The setup and connectivity process was simple and seamless. Downloading the Bose app and pairing the headphones took only a few minutes. Everything worked exactly as expected, which is the level of quality I associate with Bose products. The sound quality is far superior to anything I currently own. I use them both wirelessly with my phone and wired to my computer, and the audio clarity in both setups is outstanding. Music sounds rich and balanced, audiobooks are crisp, and dialogue in videos is incredibly clear.Comfort is another major strength. The size and style are perfect! I can wear these for extended periods without discomfort. The noise canceling is extremely effective, especially in environments with a lot of background noise. For anyone who can feel overwhelmed by constant sound, these make a noticeable difference. With the newer version recently released, these are currently priced at nearly half of what they were before, which makes them an even better value. For music, audiobooks, YouTube, or streaming on your phone, they are well worth the investment. There is honestly nothing about these headphones that I do not like. I would absolutely recommend them.

Customer Review: The photos on this review are of the headphones after a year of use. I think they’re still in great shape.I work in a loud machine shop. I have worn these 40 hours+ a week every week for the past year, and they are without a doubt the best option for quality sound, and long term listening. I had a pair of Sony XM5s before this. Not only did those get uncomfortable after about 5 hours, they also did not last long and broke after a couple of months. These Bose headphones are as perfect of a pair of headphones you can get these days. Battery life is great, they’re lightweight and fit well, so they stay comfortable for 10 hours of use during my shifts, and they’re durable enough to still be in great shape after the past year. Volume and noise cancelling control on the ear is convenient. BT range is great. I can walk all the way to the other end of the shop (100ft+) without losing connection.Yes, these are expensive, but they are the same, if not cheaper than others and last much longer.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Made me say wow. jbl customer for life, because as you see in reviews they do their job. I still have two old ones beat up but still work. Long battery life, perfect connection, durable. Same sound quality and everything else from day one till the end which I am not even sure what will break them, they withstand lots of abuse.I have a cheap pair 30$ that were pretty good, just a cheap plastic design that broke when they fell. They still were usable though. The sound quality was cheaper but still ok, I didnt think to get new headphones right away. These were over the head style but on your ear pressed.I also had a more expensive $300 one that was cup style more comfy but the sound wasnt much better. Its the functionality that sold me over time. I cant imagine dealing with simple issues like connection or breaking with just careful use, poor sound, buzzing and list goes on. JBL doesnt ever have that.I did some research before getting these to find I love sub bass that shakes your ears which they delivered. It made me say wow. Ok so I tried listening to all music like rock, electric dance music and pop. Its more clear and better quality still but interestingly, if it doesnt have sub bass it doesnt bring out the best of these headphones 770nc.I got it just for the sub bass though so if you are into that, its worth the hype. Its in a lot of genres of rap. It performs beyond expectation with the functionaity and durability of jbl. It really does make me say wow. I doubt that skull candy or even dr dre beats sound that good, you should really try these out.

Customer Review: These are amazing headphones. I had tried out competitor headphones and was thoroughly not impressed with their low performance sound. I had read multiple reviews on these talking about how they had muddy sounding bass tones, and I do not find that factual at all. As a matter of fact, these things have such a smart application that comes with them. It will test your hearing and then set up the headphones to give you the best sound your ears can hear and up all the different frequencies so that whatever you’re hearing range is you hear the sounds clearly and it doesn’t drown them out. They still hit with solid bass and I can clearly hear every guitar note and the snare drum as if I’m playing my own instruments. The beautiful part is my wife can stand 5 feet in front of me and nag away and I can’t hear a word she says even at low volume because of the active noise cancellation they do and they also have another setting that allows some ambient sound to be heard so if you do need to hear things around you you still can. And within the application you can increase or reduce how much is blocked out on both settings. It’s also got a talk through setting so if you are in an environment where you will be speaking back to someone it lets you hear your voice through the headphones so you aren’t yelling in a quiet office setting because someone asked you a question or you attempt to sing along with Queen horrifying your close neighbors. They will block out all outside noise if I want them to block them out then it’s beautiful blissful listening time finally happens. I can write or music play music. I can hear every tone every instrument everything I want to hear is crystal clear through them.I highly recommend these headphones over the beats Three or fours. They are not uncomfortable for me to wear. They don’t squish my head like the beats did. Which the beats lasted all of two weeks and I returned them for these because I was getting a headache from the pressure of wearing the beats. the absolute only thing that these lack is a pretty carrying case. And quite honestly whoop-de-do. I’ll take the much higher quality sound over a little carry case that I can go buy somewhere separately. they charge fast and so far I haven’t even noticed a dip in their battery after listening for an entire day. I am hooked on these headphones. And quite honestly, I am an audio junkie so if that carries any weight with any of you, I am as picky as it comes for sound and these are absolutely amazing. They make my son‘s AirPods look like something he got at Walmart for 15 bucks..

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I am very happy with my JBL TUNE headphones! Once charged they have incredible battery life and they are comfortable to wear more so than my ear buds. In my opinion. As far as the quality of sound you can get better but will spend more money doing so. I am satisfied with the audio quality and the different settings like noise canceling and ambient aware. Worth the money I spent on them. The app you download on your phone is disappointing. Not much there. I am happy with my purchase. Good balance of affordability and quality, easy connectivity, and good value for the money I spent.

Customer Review: This is my first pair of noise canceling headphones. I really like these so far. Used them at work all day and barely used 20% of the battery. The sound quality is great. Haven’t used them for calls yet so I can’t say on the mic quality. They are pretty comfortable, but I do wish the ear cups were slightly larger. The quality is good and the controls on the headphones work great. It also has a companion app to download to customize the EQ and voice assist functions. Overall I would def recommend these as a great entry level noise canceling headphone. For the price they are a great buy for under 100 dollars. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family looking for a good pair of headphones on a budget.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Super long battery life, 2+ days for me on one charge going nonstop! I absolutely hate a short battery life, so I test this first thing.Sound quality passes my son’s snobbery test, my hearing is damaged so I am a poor judge, but he was impressed especially at this price point. I can’t speak for noise canceling since I can’t hear beyond anyways, I think my son said it was fine but I wasn’t paying attention 😂Comfort is just fine, it’s not luxurious. There is just enough padding about the ears, more would make them feel more premium. I have very small ears and mine fit fine in the ear area provided. My ears are also super sensitive to pressure and friction, so my absurd 2+ day really challenged this and I was really happy with no discomfort.Sturdiness seems fine, I slept with them on and they survived. The plastic does feel very light and cheap, but I honestly don’t care.

Customer Review: Have to say..I listen to music basically all day almost every day! These last for days and the sound is incredible especially for the price! Comfortable enough to wear that long!I am 5′ 1″ and have a small head! These fit great! I’m very hard on it! Like dropping all day even dropped almost a whole cup of coffee right into the speaker! I figured it was soaked anyway and I assumed they were ruined so I rinsed it out carefully with water. I let them dry for a couple days. It’s like it never happened! Blew my mind! The speakers over ear turn and that’s my only negative thing. Only because I take on and off a lot with one hand so it’s my fault! It’s been about 3 months and I’m going to buy another pair ASAP. Just because they get loose and when bending throughout the day and fall off. They are very sturdy to begin with! Made well! I can’t hear anything around me if i choose! But that happens with every brand I’ve tried.Great product! Which is so appreciated because music keeps me going and is important to me as I do art. Very pretty unique green! The buttons make skipping songs and changing volume easy! Just one click to change volume..hold it down and boom next song! These connect effortlessly and quickly to my laptop and phone at the same time.Thank you KVIDIO because money is so tight and because it’s made so well I didn’t have to spend money I don’t have to spend!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Simply put, these are the best pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. The sound quality is phenomenal, and the noise cancellation is excellent. It can even be adjusted through a slider in the app, which is a really nice touch. The app also includes its own equalizer, with multiple sound settings and customization options depending on how you want your audio to be heard. The touch controls on the right ear cup feel pretty futuristic, and I’m all for cool technological features like that. On top of that, they’re extremely comfortable. I can honestly see myself sleeping with them on during travel because they fit so well for long periods of time.Battery life is fantastic too — they truly last a long time from 100% down to 0%. They also pair smoothly with multiple devices. I’ve had no issues using them with both my desktop and my phone at the same time. You’ll only get audio from one device at once, of course, but switching between them is seamless.Overall, this headset completely exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality headphones. And just to be clear, I’m not a robot or a paid reviewer — just a hermit who loves listening to music while putting in heavy gaming hours.

Customer Review: A Huge Upgrade — The Quietest, Most Comfortable HeI just upgraded to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) after four years with my previous Bose headset—which still works great—and this new version feels like a major step forward. What stands out immediately is the noise cancellation. My old Bose did a great job, but the Ultra model takes it to a completely new level. When I put these on, the world goes silent. On airplanes, cabin noise all but disappears. I use mine with an AirFly Pro to watch movies wirelessly, and the experience is outstanding. The sound quality is richer and more immersive. Bose’s new Spatialized Audio really does make the audio feel like it’s happening in front of you, not inside your head. Comfort is another big improvement. The materials feel more luxurious and solid. These headphones have a premium feel. I can wear them for long flights without any discomfort. The battery life is excellent, easily lasting through a full travel day.Unlike my previous model, when you remove these headphones, they go into a low-power sleep mode. It used to be frustrating forgetting to turn off my old headphones and returning the next day with zero battery. The Bluetooth connection is smoother than my previous Bose. Pairing is almost instant, and the connection stays solid. Calls are also clearer thanks to the noise-rejecting microphones that filter out background noise.Overall, this is the best pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. Bose kept everything I loved about my old set and improved every part of it—sound, comfort, noise cancellation, battery life, and connectivity. If you travel often or just want true peace and quiet, these are absolutely worth the upgrade. If you love hearing crisp and clear sound, this Bose headset improves the great sound I was used to and takes it to a new level.

Complete Buying Guide for best wireless headphones for music

Essential Factors We Consider

When evaluating the best wireless headphones for music, we prioritize sound quality above all else. This means looking for a balanced, detailed sound signature with clear highs, rich mids, and a bass response that is powerful but not overwhelming. We test with a wide range of genres, from classical to hip-hop. Next is noise cancellation—effective ANC is a game-changer for immersive listening. Battery life is critical; we look for at least 20 hours, with bonus points for extreme longevity. Comfort and build quality determine whether you’ll actually wear them for hours. We assess padding, headband pressure, and overall weight. Finally, features like multipoint Bluetooth, app support with EQ, and low latency mode for video add significant value.

Budget Planning

The market for wireless headphones spans from under $50 to over $400. Budget models ($50-$100) often sacrifice some sound refinement and ANC but can offer incredible battery life and decent audio (see the Picun B8 or KVIDIO). Mid-range ($100-$250) is the sweet spot, where you get excellent ANC, great sound, and premium comfort from brands like JBL and Sony (JBL Live 770NC, Sony WH-CH720N). High-end ($250+) delivers best-in-class noise cancellation, spatial audio, and luxurious materials (Bose QuietComfort Ultra). Set your budget based on which features are non-negotiable for your listening habits.

Final Thoughts

Choosing the right pair depends entirely on your personal priorities. If you live for deep bass and hate charging, the JBL Tune 720BT or Tune 770NC are fantastic. If noise cancellation is your top concern, the Sony WH-CH720N offers great value, while the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is the ultimate splurge. For the absolute longest battery life, the Picun B8 is unbeatable. Remember to consider fit—over-ear cups provide better passive isolation and often more comfort for long sessions than on-ear designs. Ultimately, any headphone on this list will significantly upgrade your daily music experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do wireless headphones for music have good sound quality compared to wired ones?

A: Modern high-end wireless headphones, especially those with support for codecs like aptX HD or LDAC, can achieve sound quality very close to wired connections. For the vast majority of listeners, the convenience of wireless far outweighs any minor, often inaudible, loss in fidelity. The models on this list are all selected for their strong musical performance.

Q: How important is active noise cancellation (ANC) for music listening?

A: ANC is crucial for an immersive experience, especially in noisy environments like commutes, planes, or busy offices. It allows you to hear your music at lower, safer volumes by eliminating background hums and distractions. If you frequently listen in noisy places, prioritize a model with strong ANC like the Sony WH-CH720N or Bose QuietComfort Ultra.

Q: What is the typical battery life I should expect?

A: Most modern wireless headphones offer between 20 and 30 hours on a single charge. Some budget or efficiency-focused models, like the JBL Tune 720BT (76 hrs) and Picun B8 (120 hrs), far exceed this. Consider your listening habits—if you forget to charge often, look for a model with 50+ hours.

Q: Are over-ear headphones better for music than on-ear?

A: Generally, yes. Over-ear headphones (like most on this list) enclose the entire ear, providing better passive noise isolation, more space for larger drivers, and often greater comfort for extended listening due to less pressure on the ear itself. On-ear models (like the Sony WH-CH520) are more portable and can be cooler but may compromise slightly on soundstage and comfort over hours.

Q: Should I buy headphones based on brand name?

Ready to transform how you experience music? The perfect pair of best wireless headphones for music is waiting for you in this list. Whether you need the ultimate noise-canceling sanctuary, a bass-thumping powerhouse, or a budget-friendly workhorse, you can’t go wrong with any of these expert-tested choices.
