Love that it has an on/off button. I haven’t noticed any color issues. I would not recommend this monitor for a designer, but as a copywriter, it gets the job done. I generally need a second screen to research what I’m writing and this has been wonderful for that. It’s a great value for what you get. No complaints other than I wish I had a bigger space to have a bigger screen size, but that’s more of a me problem. LOL I would def buy this brand again. Customer Review: Really Clean monitor, no built in speakers (no issues there), Color range is great for daily desktop usage and some light gaming, ideally this is a secondary monitor for a gaming computer, inexpensive lightweight travel monitor for those LAN sessions or just needing to extend your display somehow.This is NOT ideal for Video/Graphic or content creation.Ive paired this with my Omen 27i (main monitor) and it looks very good next to it. screen bezzel is thin, no loud RGB, a very small non flashy logo on the front.Plastic is a thicker less expensive feeling. Kinda typical for this price point. Low power consumption, And built in vesa mounting holes are a big plus.multiple inputs give this good functionality to be used with multiple inputs/computers/systems.OSD menu button on back of monitor is pretty standard, up down left right, etc. Hold the button in to power off .Great price/value under $135.

Amazing that a display in this price range is even of interest to gamers.The display is beautiful. It is far brighter with far more adjustment than I will ever use. The picture viewing angle is reasonable, there is very little variation side to side when looking directly at the monitor, better than my laptop display. There is minimal backlight bleed, especially for an inexpensive ips panel. There is a stuck pixel, or possibly a cluster of 2 in the lower right corner–ymmv. They have an explicit pixel guarantee you can check out on their website.If anyone is looking for power buttons or controls, it is all in the joystick on the back right corner. Just hold down 3 seconds to power off. Menu is very intuitive.I’m using vesa 100 mount, so can’t speak to the stand. The only issue is that the screws I have are a little long–they won’t tighten down all the way. No mounting screws included. But no issue with stability or usability once mounted.I’m running this at qhd 75hz, which is all my hdmi-display port adapter will support. Can’t verify 100hz. Customer Review: Gosh, where to even begin? I’ve been using Dell Monitors for over a decade now – regardless of what brand PC system I was using. I’ve always found Dell monitors to be a cut above, given what you spend.Over the past week, one of the audio components that I had on a shelf directly above my previous Dell monitor, fell from the shelf, hit the table and bounced back into my Dell screen, smashing it – talk about a negative surprise. So I had to find a PC monitor quickly to replace it. Problem is that I needed a monitor whose height adjustment capabilities were a step above. So I called Dell, talked to a sales agent, who asked me what exactly I was looking for. I told him that my PC monitor needed to have substantial height (lowering and raising the monitor) capabilities.After researching a variety of PC monitors, he recommended that I try the Dell S2425HS monitor, which had a height adjustment capability of 5″-6″, which is phenomenal. You see, my monitor is sitting within a small nook space (height-wise), and I needed to have a monitor that would allow me to lower the screen substantially to fit into this space.So I thanked him and immediately ordered it on Amazon – and it arrived the very next day. When it arrived, I was gratified to see the same care and packing of the monitor that Dell had always provided. Assembly was quick, and I was then surprised to discover that there were two 5-watt speakers (I don’t know the actual size of the speakers) integrated inside the monitor.After connecting everything and subsequently doing a color calibration of this new S2425HS (I do lots of photography, and I need an accurate monitor to process digital photos), I was gratified to then witness a wonderful-looking screen. As an aside, I also am an audiophile that maintains a desktop, near-field audio system around my PC. The gear used includes names such as KEF, Adcom, NAD, SMSL, and more – all providing me with a glorious audio experience while working.And believe it or not, the biggest surprise for me – besides the excellent screen qualities of this new S2425HS – was the sound of these two 5 watt built-in speakers. In the settings menu on the monitor, you have the options to tune the sound of the integrated speakers for Movie, Music, Standard, Sports, and a few other modes. So I set mine to music, fully expecting these two little speakers to sound tinny and compressed due to their small size.But boy was I surprised. The speakers had a fuller-bodied sound with excellent separation and an almost holographic sound quality while listening to a variety of materials. It is a good 5 steps above the typical built-in tiny speakers you get with some other monitors. This came as a welcomed treat because I periodically like to give my audiophile amps and associated electronics a rest. In fact, I was watching a band perform on YouTube just a few minutes ago, and for a second, I thought I was listening through my KEF speakers. Of course, when the bass section was performing, I realized then that I was listening to the PC monitor speakers because let’s face it, those tiny speakers were limited with what they could do.So all in all, I am absolutely delighted with this quality-made Dell S2425HS monitor. It provides superb screen and picture qualities, and also gives you the bonus of including two small, yet highly competent speakers that provide excellent sound qualities, despite their small size.Highly recommended!

Customer Review: A LITTLE BACKGROUND: I had already owned two small monitors, 24″ each, however recently I was rearranging some furniture in the room, of which both monitors were sitting on top of, and during the moving around one of the monitors fell off. The thin beveled edges for a larger usable screen area, and 2. Easier access to the buttons for configuring the monitor.(i.e. brightness, contrast, etc.). Coming in a VERY close second with #2 is the cost, $99.99($100). Looking at the cost of other monitors small than 27″ was a lot more!So, 3 inches more screen area(than my previous monitors) and the features mentioned above for only a hundred dollars? …OK!I had purchase two 32in VIEWSONIC monitors not too long ago for another computer, and I really like the monitors, HOWEVER, the one and only draw back with those two monitors is the location of the buttons for configuring the monitor is in a very bad location to easily access and use, on the backside of the monitor. I cannot see what button I am about to press!Hold on!!! Wait a minute you might be saying right now… You might be wondering, if not asking, what about the screen resolution, what are things on the screen looking like??Well that is a great question and my answer to that is, as it said, “a picture is worth a thousand words”…or in this case, $99.99! So probably an option I may never use anyway, but may test them out just to see how good they are…or how bad.😂Color is crisp and clear and gave me the screen resolution I needed 1920×1080. Text is clear and legible, graphics are as good as your graphics card will allow, so if you’re not using a high end graphics card don’t expect this monitor to improve motherboard built-in graphics or older low end graphic cards, that’s not the monitors fault, it’s your MB or GC that’s the problem.Overall I’m very happy with this monitor and been well worth the price I paid for.Yes, I’d recommend this monitor.
