Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Used to replace a broken 27″ curved 144hz monitor. Best 32″ 2k 120hz monitor I could find for the price. IPS panel has great color and response time. Works great with my PC and my Xbox Series S. By default the monitor will only go to 100Hz, monitor needs to have Overclock enabled in the OSD settings to get 120hz. Very happy with this monitor and surprised at the overall quality of it especially being from a relatively unknown brand.

Customer Review: This monitor has a solid base and is easy to set up. It has a no-glare screen with sufficient resolution for image editing, video editing, and any office application you need. Very bright display and high contrast make even dull spreadsheets come to life. The quality of the product and the price make it an outstanding value. I highly recommend it!

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: Really Clean monitor, no built in speakers (no issues there), Color range is great for daily desktop usage and some light gaming, ideally this is a secondary monitor for a gaming computer, inexpensive lightweight travel monitor for those LAN sessions or just needing to extend your display somehow. This is NOT ideal for Video/Graphic or content creation.Ive paired this with my Omen 27i (main monitor) and it looks very good next to it. screen bezzel is thin, no loud RGB, a very small non flashy logo on the front.Plastic is a thicker less expensive feeling. Kinda typical for this price point. Low power consumption, And built in vesa mounting holes are a big plus.multiple inputs give this good functionality to be used with multiple inputs/computers/systems.OSD menu button on back of monitor is pretty standard, up down left right, etc. Hold the button in to power off .Great price/value under $135.

Customer Review: First impressions review of H27T27. They also are selling H27T13. YMMV. I am not a gamer so this is not a review of suitability. Amazing that a display in this price range is even of interest to gamers. The display is beautiful. It is far brighter with far more adjustment than I will ever use. The picture viewing angle is reasonable, there is very little variation side to side when looking directly at the monitor, better than my laptop display. There is minimal backlight bleed, especially for an inexpensive ips panel. There is a stuck pixel, or possibly a cluster of 2 in the lower right corner–ymmv. They have an explicit pixel guarantee you can check out on their website. If anyone is looking for power buttons or controls, it is all in the joystick on the back right corner. Just hold down 3 seconds to power off. Menu is very intuitive.I’m using vesa 100 mount, so can’t speak to the stand. The only issue is that the screws I have are a little long–they won’t tighten down all the way. No mounting screws included. But no issue with stability or usability once mounted.I’m running this at qhd 75hz, which is all my hdmi-display port adapter will support. Can’t verify 100hz. It’s more than fine for me.All in all, I couldn’t be happier. Hope it holds up.I hadn’t heard of KTC. Turns out they are an established, global company. They have a real CS team that returned my email overnight. They confirmed that all of their monitors have a three-year warranty.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I have this inexpensive monitor next to a 2-3 year old Dell IPS monitor of the same size, with my desktop extending across both. Image quality is very similar, though colors are not identical. Not sure which is more correct on the colors, and not sure that I care. Both are just fine for developing business software, which is their primary use. Both have tinny built-in speakers that I prefer not to use.

Customer Review: Great screen! I love that this screen doesn’t allow automatic tilt and holds in place like my last one did. Colors are good and with the 27″ screen easy to see. Just plug it in, connect your HDM1 cable and you are in business. On/off switch is conveniently location in the lower, right-hand corner of the back of the screen.

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I never review my Amazon purchases, but I’m so impressed with this one I had to say something. I had an old Dell monitor that I loved for its color accuracy, but after 12 years the backlight died on me and I had to find a replacement quick and on a tight budget. I caught this one on a limited-time sale for $100, but IMO it would still be an excellent deal at full price.1. The included stand is the most adjustable I’ve ever seen out of the box. Notably, it can rotate into portrait mode in _either direction_ (clockwise or counter-clockwise), which doesn’t sound super impressive, but it makes things like cable management and getting a good look at the inputs much easier, even if you don’t intend to leave it that way.2. The picture quality (and adjustability via the menu) is way above and beyond my expectations… I was able to eyeball-calibrate it to match my primary display in less than 5 minutes using just the built-in menu options.3. The included I/O options are excellent… this has 2x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort input for video, plus a headphone-out… and it can also act as a USB hub.

Customer Review: This is a really nice monitor. It was very easy to set up. It weighs a lot less than the antiquated Samsung 4:3 monitor it replaced. The bezel is very thin, and color rendering seems excellent. There were no dead pixels. I also was pleasantly surprised to see a built in power supply instead of the ubiquitous “line lump.”The user manual is for multiple models and I wasted some time looking for the menu access buttons… It turns out that with this model everything is accessed via a joystick-style arrangement on the power button… The built in headphone output was recognized immediately… Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase, and recommend this monitor.

  • 99% sRGB Color Coverage for good color fidelity

The IPS panel is the star, providing consistent colors and viewing angles that cheaper VA panels can’t match. It’s the perfect way to get a “premium feel” without the premium cost.

Best For

Budget-conscious buyers who still want a smooth, modern display. It’s perfect for students, first-time home office setups, or as a secondary monitor where a high refresh rate improves the overall feel of the system without breaking the bank.

Pros and Cons

8. LG 27US500-W Monitor

LG 27-Inch 4K UHD HDR10 IPS Ultrafine Monitor with Borderless Design,

For professionals who need maximum screen real estate and pixel density, this LG 4K monitor is a top-tier choice. The 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160) on a 27-inch screen provides an incredibly sharp, detailed image where text looks like printed paper. This is a massive advantage for photo editors, video editors, architects, and anyone working with intricate details. It supports HDR10 and covers up to 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering rich, lifelike colors. The borderless “Ultrafine” design is elegant and minimal.

Key Features That Stand Out

  • 4K UHD Resolution (3840×2160) for extreme detail and clarity
  • HDR10 & 90% DCI-P3 for stunning, vibrant colors
  • Borderless IPS Panel with excellent viewing angles
  • LG’s Onscreen Control Software for easy display customization

Why We Recommend It

It’s the ultimate tool for visual professionals. The jump from QHD to 4K is significant in terms of sharpness and workspace. You can fit multiple windows, code editors, or design panels on screen without feeling cramped. The color performance, while not a professional-calibrated display, is very good for the price and benefits greatly from HDR content.

Best For

Photo and video editors, graphic designers, architects, engineers, and anyone who works with high-resolution media or needs to see fine details. It’s also excellent for general business use if you simply want the crispest text possible.

Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Stunning 4K resolution provides incredible detail and clarity
  • Excellent color gamut (DCI-P3) and HDR10 support
  • Beautiful, minimalist borderless design
  • Very good out-of-the-box color accuracy
Cons:
  • Stand only tilts; requires VESA mount for height/swivel
  • 60Hz refresh rate (standard for 4K, but not “smooth”)
  • Demanding on GPU—requires a decent graphics card for full desktop use
  • HDR performance is good but not exceptional for the price

Customer Reviews

Customer Review: I’ve been using the LG 27US500-W Ultrafine Monitor for a few weeks now, and it’s been fantastic. The 4K UHD resolution is incredibly sharp—text looks crisp, and colors are vibrant without being oversaturated. Out of the box, color accuracy was already very good, but after a quick calibration, it looked even better. The 27-inch screen size is the sweet spot for productivity—large enough for split-screen multitasking without taking up too much desk space. I mainly use it for photo editing, web browsing, and occasional Netflix, and everything looks clean and smooth. The IPS panel gives great viewing angles too, so there’s no color shifting when I move around.Build quality is solid and minimalistic, with thin bezels and a clean white finish that looks great on my desk. The stand is a little basic—only tilt adjustment, no height or swivel—but that’s easily solved with a VESA mount.Connectivity is straightforward with HDMI and DisplayPort options, and it works flawlessly with both my MacBook and PC.

Customer Review: I didn’t rate this for gaming because I don’t have a video card to drive a 4K monitor at a good speed yet, but for everything else, it looks brilliant for the money.I’m a working stiff these days, so I don’t have the free time I’d like to have to play around and get everything set up just so, and I found that there are little hurdles and speed bumps along the way with these newer displays if you want to actually USE all of the fancy marketing buzzwords like HDR or Freesync or G-Sync or high frame rates or FALD… But 4K crystal clear beautiful brilliance does pretty much work right out of the box, and at this price, even just that is worth having… So while I haven’t put together all of those pieces in a way that lets me enjoy all the features and functionality of this monitor yet, I am already satisfied with my purchase even if I never take the time to make it all work at peak performance. This is a pretty darn good buy.

Complete Buying Guide for Best 27 Monitors For Business

Essential Factors We Consider

Choosing the right business monitor goes beyond just size and price. Resolution is key: for a 27-inch screen, QHD (2560×1440) is the sweet spot for sharpness without the high GPU demand of 4K. Full HD (1920×1080) is budget-friendly but pixels are more visible. Panel Type matters: IPS offers the best color and wide viewing angles, ideal for collaborative work and color-sensitive tasks. VA provides higher contrast but narrower angles. Refresh Rate (60Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz+) makes motion feel smoother and reduces eye strain during long sessions. Ergonomics are non-negotiable—look for height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustment to set up a healthy workstation. Finally, connectivity (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C) must match your computer’s outputs.

Budget Planning

You can find a capable 27-inch business monitor anywhere from $150 to $600. The $150-$250 range gets you a solid Full HD or entry-level QHD with 100-120Hz refresh, perfect for general office work and light creative tasks. The $250-$400 range offers the best value with true QHD resolution, excellent IPS panels, good ergonomics, and smoother refresh rates. The $400+ range is for specialists: 4K resolution for pixel-perfect detail work or ultra-high refresh rates (144Hz+) for motion-critical applications. Always balance your specific needs against your budget—don’t overpay for features you won’t use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why is a 27-inch monitor a good size for business?

A: A 27-inch screen provides a great balance between screen real estate and desk space. It’s large enough to comfortably fit multiple windows, documents, or applications side-by-side without requiring you to turn your head excessively, which improves workflow efficiency and reduces neck strain.

Q: Should I choose QHD (1440p) or 4K (2160p) resolution?

A: For most business users, QHD (2560×1440) is the ideal choice. It offers a significant sharpness upgrade over Full HD without the demanding GPU requirements of 4K. 4K is best reserved for professional photo/video editors, designers, and engineers who need to see extreme detail and have a computer powerful enough to drive it.

Q: Is a high refresh rate (100Hz/120Hz) necessary for business?

A: While not strictly necessary, a higher refresh rate (100Hz or above) makes a noticeable improvement in daily comfort. Scrolling through long documents, webpages, and spreadsheets feels much smoother and less straining on the eyes. The difference between 60Hz and 100/120Hz is similar to the jump from standard definition to HD—once you experience it, it’s hard to go back.

Q: What’s more important for business: IPS or VA panel?

A: For most business applications, IPS is the superior choice. It offers consistent colors and brightness from wide viewing angles, which is critical if multiple people look at your screen or if you move around. VA panels have deeper blacks and higher contrast but suffer from color shift and smearing when viewed from the side, making them less ideal for collaborative or color-critical work.

Q: Do I need a monitor with a USB-C port?

USB-C port with Power Delivery (PD) is extremely convenient if you use a modern laptop (like a MacBook or Windows ultrabook). It allows you to charge your laptop and transmit video/data through a single cable, creating a clean, clutter-free desk setup. If your desktop has no USB-C, this feature isn’t necessary.

Ultimately, the best monitor for your business is the one that fits your specific workflow, desk setup, and budget. Use this guide and our top picks to make an informed decision that will boost your productivity for years to come.
