Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Got this back in October of 2025. Great laptop. Runs hot (buy a cooling/fan pad or some sort of stand…do not let it sit on your lap) so that’s something to be aware of. And I don’t mean it overheats or even comes close. The air that comes off the cooling fans is just really hot. A fan pad mitigates this well. Can handle anything I throw at it game wise, just as expected. Monitor looks good, has good color but is a little dark, however, I use an external monitor so, that’s no big deal. My only gripe is the amount of crappy bloatware that comes preinstalled on it. And the fact that one of those unwanted programs controls the backlights on the keyboard is just asinine. That should be a button or a switch that goes from power to LEDs to ground. MAYBE put a control board in there for the kids who need their RGB lights. Otherwise, no, no OS level software should be needed for a keyboard backlight. Once you deal with the bloatware, it’s a very solid, well performing laptop. Can’t really go wrong here.Avoid the ones with the Intel Core I7 and I9 13000 and 14000 series processors. They are (probably) defective as those processors tend have degradation issues in their clocks. Had to replace a brand new gaming PC with this laptop. Was a good move.
Customer Review: Excelente producto, tiempo de entrega de lo mejor… muy satisfecho

Customer Review: I bought this device as a desktop replacement for both work and pleasure. I wouldn’t call myself a hardcore gamer but I am able to play the latest titles with great FPS. It’s paired with a Wavelink Quad 4K Display Docking station (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FT8BXZR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1).While pricey, I would highly recoomend this device for those who demand the best in mobile computing!!

Complete Buying Guide for best llm for 5090 laptop
Essential Factors We Consider
When selecting a laptop for LLM workloads, focus on GPU VRAM (RTX 5090’s 24GB is ideal for 13B-70B models), system RAM (64GB minimum, 128GB for large models), and cooling efficiency. Storage speed matters too—opt for fast NVMe SSDs to load models quickly. Display quality helps with monitoring training metrics, and keyboard comfort is crucial for long coding sessions.
Budget Planning
High-end RTX 5090 laptops start around $3,000 and can exceed $5,000 for maxed-out specs. Consider financing options like the Amazon Business Amex card or saving with gift cards. Balance your needs: if you’re experimenting, a 64GB model may suffice; for production, invest in 128GB RAM. Don’t overlook peripherals like a good mouse to enhance productivity.
Final Thoughts
The best LLM for 5090 laptop setups isn’t just about raw power—it’s about the right combination of GPU, RAM, and support accessories. Whether you choose the MSI Raider, Lenovo Legion, or a more budget-friendly ASUS TUF, ensure it meets your specific LLM size and workflow. Pair it with smart financing and ergonomic peripherals for a seamless AI development experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I run large language models like Llama 3 70B on an RTX 5090 laptop?
A: Yes, with sufficient RAM (64GB+) and the 24GB VRAM of the RTX 5090, you can run 70B parameter models using quantization techniques. However, inference speed depends on optimization and model size.
Q: Is 64GB RAM enough for LLM fine-tuning?
