Customer Review: These are going to be my first dip into pro-ish level in ear monitors. When it came to other iem’s that I have tried, I have only ever bought consumer level in-ears and some of the budget oriented monitors from KZ like the ES4 and ZSN Pro X. This is actually my first Sennheiser as well so I was rather excited due to the company’s lineage and experience. Inside the box was nicely laid out and came with everything I needed. The only gripe I had was the little “bag” that was meant to hold the iems in. It’s one of those “snap bags” but instead of having a magnetic clasp to keep them closed, its just two bits of stiff plastic that keep it closed by simply being rigid, and if you want to open the bag you push in the sides to snap it open. They really should have included a zippered bag of some kind because that would have been simpler. The comfort of the monitors is simply great. They’re small and could fit into most ears and the stiff over ear hook can easily be bent into any shape to fit any ear. Some might not like the wire design but I think it works out just fine. One very important thing to note about the silicone and foam ear tips is the cylinder of foam on the inside. Please take care when switching out tips because this foam is CRUCIAL to keeping the sound profile right. Yes, even though you can swap out the tips for more comfortable ones, you will have a VASTLY different sound profile due to the lack of dampening foam. Also, be sure to double check the nozzle itself because it too has some foam inside. For the most part, just be careful when switching tip sizes and use the cleaning tool to orient the tubes of foam so they sit correctly inside the nozzle and ear tips. I know it sounds like a hassle, but once you are aware of it, there should be no issues. For the sound quality. I have to say that these things are well balanced with some boost in the trebles that add a bit of brightness to each song. Snare drums and cymbals sound a bit more forward, but this is where the small fault comes in. There will be some songs in which the “S” and “T” sounds from vocalists will be a bit harsh, but not unbearable. Think about how recording a voice sounds like without a pop filter and you will get the general idea of what I’m talking about. This doesn’t mean the sound is totally bad, far from it. It’s just a warning that some tracks with certain lyrics will not sound the best unless the mastering of said track is a bit warmer. I have tried many genre’s with these monitors and I will say all of them are pleasing and detailed. Even the bass is well tuned and you can get a nice thump, nothing that is head rocking and muddy but good enough. I will say that these do fit within the pro range and have a rather flat curve, in spite of what you might see on some frequency response graphs. I will say that minus the occasional shrill tracks you might run into, these will fit most, if not all genres of music. In the end, these are indeed pro level in-ears that you can get for a mere $100 and they will not disappoint. If you want to hear familiar tracks in a different way, I would recommend these. But also be sure that you are listening to a good source because the clarity of these in-ears will reveal badly recorded or low quality sound files very easily. A definite must-have for music enjoyers.

They are super comfortable, and the clarity for price is otherworldly. Bass is tasteful, mids are great and the highs are maybe just a little tinny. Ensure that you have something good driving them though, as I do notice a staggering difference in sound quality from something like an iPod vs my Mac or desktop computer.

Customer Review: Tl;dr: these are some of the best earbuds I’ve ever heard. Not just for the price – I’m talking period. I’ve owned $300 IEMs that didn’t sound anywhere near this good. The ZS10 Pros are a no-brainer recommendation for me. You will not be disappointed. Okay, longer review: I recently picked up a pair of KZ ZSN Pro Xs, mostly just because DankPods keeps talking about them. I was incredibly impressed by their sound and build quality, particularly for the price. Going a little deeper down the chi-fi rabbit hole, I noticed a lot of budget audiophiles raving about the ZS10 Pros. I figured, hey, if the ZSNs sound that good for ~$20, the ZS10 Pros must be even better, right? Well, bear in mind that you get diminishing returns with this stuff as you go up in price, but I figured for $45, even if the ZS10s didn’t absolutely blow their cheaper brothers out of the water, at least I didn’t drop that much on them. I can tell you that the ZS10 Pros are definitely worth the little extra you pay. Don’t expect them to sound “twice as good” as the ZSNs, of course, but there are a lot of little things I notice that make them worth the extra price. Firstly, just the build quality. The ZSNs are by no means cheap-feeling, but the ZS10 Pros’ stainless steel casing is really nice-looking. They just feel solid. The sound profile is a little different than the ZSNs. The ZSNs have a remarkably flat frequency response. The ZS10s color the sound a little more, but not in a bad way at all. I would hardly characterize it as a “V curve,” just that the bass and treble are SLIGHTLY more prominent than the mids. It’s still overall a very flat, natural curve, and everything is really clear and distinct. The bass is punchy, but tight. These are not going to impress people who want nothing but stanky bass, but for those of us who want GOOD SOUND OVERALL, the ZS10s deliver. The bass is prominent without drowning out the mids. The soundstage, omg. There’s a really incredible three-dimensionality to it. I’m a drummer, and depending on how well the track I’m listening to is, the ZS10s soundstage makes it feel like I’m sitting at my drumset. You just have to experience it. Every instrument sounds distinct in physical space around your head. That’s something I’ve NEVER experienced with headphones this inexpensive. I can very comfortably say that the KZ ZS10 Pros are “budget audiophile” no-brainers. Chi-fi is just killing it lately. Get these, and be amazed.

Customer Review: First off, I don’t write reviews much. So please, let the fact that I took the time out of my day to write this be a huge endorsement in and of itself. My use case here was simple, I wanted a pair of IEMs for work. I needed something that performs well at low volume and was not fatiguing to listen to for long periods of time. I have tried a few different, more budget oriented products (~$100 or less) over the past year. These have included Starfields and even more budget conscious choices like the BLO3s. Honestly, I can’t say I strongly disliked any, but the KZ ZS10 Pros are the best IEMs I have listened to thus far. For transparency, I want to mention that I listened to these using my Fiio btr5 (Blutooth+DAC+Amp) using a balanced cable with a silicon tip. Your mileage may vary when plugging directly into a PC or phone or for other setups in general. I do not consider sound description to be a strong suite of mine nor do I think I have the most discerning ear, but in the spirit of being helpful I wanted to share my notes on the sound: 1) The higher range of treble is a bit quieter. Despite this, the treble overall is extremely detailed. If you are listening for things in the higher registers, it is there and sounds exceptional, but it is just not as “forward” in the sound. 2) I really, like the bass response of these. A lot. The best description I would use here is tight, controlled, and hard hitting. If you have heard a sealed vs. ported woofer, they favor the former. 3) The sound stage is not what I would consider wide, but the separation and imaging is quite good. 4) These IEMs have a fantastic dynamic response. What I mean by that, is that when they play a sound, it doesn’t “hold,” but dies out immediately. Its a seemingly small thing, but it makes percussion like snares, cymbals, etc; sound very precise and impactful. 5) Overall, I would describe the sound as slightly warm, but very detailed. Honestly, just a pleasure to listen to.

Customer Review: After four months of using these KZ ZAR buds, I am happy I went with these. I did a lot of research before I pulled the trigger on a pair of IEM earbuds. So, I felt it appropriate to post my experience of what I purchased here on Amazon. Here’s my thoughts: BUILD: As a drummer and vocalist, I will admit I’m very hard on my gear, including my headphones. Sticks hit the wires, they get yanked out of my ears due to aggressive playing style, they bounce off of gear and so on. – After four months the wires still seem brand new, very flexible and the jack connection is still solid. – I love the unique twisted wires from the jack to the separator. – The outer cases show no sign of wear. – I also really like that they use the 2-pin “C” style to connect the wires to the body of the IEMs, as they do not spin like the round “new style” connectors. Those are much harder to put in on the fly, if you are in a rush or have removed one in the middle of a song. It’s really very hard to do with one hand… UPGRADED WIRES: The manufacturer KZ, talks about upgraded silver wires. I don’t know how much this helps the audio, but given the build quality, I assume it does. – You don’t get much noise traveling through the wires to your ears, from it rubbing on your clothing or hitting your body, like you do from lower end earbuds with thinner wires/cables. – I also really, really like the fact that it is braided differently from where it comes out of the jack up to the splitter. An obvious upgrade and giving a bit more substance so it hangs nicely and does not get twisted up, but not too heavy. – Something not mentioned in the description; the wire that comes out of the earbuds has about a 3-inch sheathing to keep the two wires in place, which helps for supporting in the wires, direction so they stay together and not get caught on your ears. I had no idea this would be as beneficial as it is. (It’s hard to see in my picture, my thumb is holding the wire in place where the sheathing stops.) SOUND: The 8 drivers per ear are well balanced, I can hear the music in great detail. These are not ultra flat but not dull either. They are well balanced without overly V-curved either, in their frequency responses. The imaging and separation are good enough to tell the two guitarists apart when the levels are equal. Bass is loud and clear, but not hyped or overbearing. Like any set of earbuds, you’re not going to get sub bass prominent in a full range mix. However, I can hear the 80K range that my bass drum produces. I have my kick drum higher in my mix, and the drivers do not have a problem separating that low end vs. the vocals and guitars without any frequency cancelling out or dominating the others. NOISE CANCELING: KZ’s marketing says “You could conceivably not notice the apocalypse if you had these on.” Well… Let’s scale it down a bit folks. Without an internal DB meter, I cannot say if they are “capable of blocking up to 36 dB of noise” as noted. However, what I can tell you that with just drums and three vocalists in my IEM mix, I can hear the bass and the guitarist (that always, always play too loud), now at a reasonable level. That’s a huge win for me! – I do have to remove one ear to hear talking between songs, IF it is not done into a microphone. CONS: The only downside is they ‘can’ hurt the top of my ears after prolonged use. This is because when you put them in what feels like the natural position to go in, the wire harness sits against the front/top of your ear. THE FIX: After putting them in, rotate both of the IEM’s forward, and there is no pressure on your ear. THE BOTTOM LINE: Overall I really like these IEMs. This level of IEM’s would cost a lot more several years ago. Gave a 5-star rating and would buy these again if needed, or for the price, as a backup. These will be my main in-ears for now. PS … IF YOU PURCHASE: An accessory I purchased on Amazon that I really recommend is the KZ–AZ09. You’ll need the model with the C pin. It is a Bluetooth attachment/upgrade ear hook that attaches in place of the wire, so you can wear them as normal earbuds. While I’ve only used them once on a plane, they worked flawlessly. Connected to my iPhone seamlessly, and the set up was great listening to movies on a cross-country trip. It really let me experience the separation of the 8 drivers per ear.

Customer Review: As someone who has only recently tried an IEM, these were my second pair. My first being FiiO JH3s which are half the price. If you can appreciate the details in the sound your hearing these are leaps ahead the first pair I bought. While at a hardware level these have much more driver behind them and it shows. I paired these with a DAC and it only got better. My Pros. •Huge bass range, these hit new lows I didn’t know I knew existed. I’m usually a speaker listen and the low end clarity on these shocked me. •The mid range follows the low with great clarity. Great volcals that don’t feel washed out by the bass. There is clear separation. •Build quality is great they feel solid in the hand while also being light weight. The connector is reinforced and feels very secure, something I had issues with my first pair. •Fit is great. I don’t even realize they’re in, they stay in. Enough said. •Cable is very flimsy in a good way, seems to be just rigid enough to not tangle. The connectors on both sides are very high quality. My Cons. The high end leave a little to be desired. This is my opinion others may feel differently but I find the higher side of things to be sometimes subdued by the low end and mid range, there is great tone but it’s not as sharp as other headphones I’ve used. I knew this going in as I wanted the low end kick these have •NO CASE! I would have really liked to have at least seen a soft carrying pouch or a hard case, but nothing. For $100 it seems like that could’ve been added. My $50 FiiOs came with a sweet hard clear case and I’ve actually now used that as my case for these. As my second set I can confidently say I’m content…for now. These are a very nice set of IEMs that I feel are totally worth the money.

Customer Review: I have spent time testing the KZ ZA12 against far more expensive earbuds, including the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3, and in terms of pure sound quality the ZA12 absolutely holds its own and in some areas sounds better. The hybrid 2DD plus 4BA setup delivers excellent separation, clarity, and texture across the frequency range. Bass is tight and controlled rather than bloated, mids are clean and natural, and highs are detailed without being sharp or fatiguing. On well recorded tracks, the ZA12 reveals small details and layering that often get smoothed over on wireless earbuds, even premium ones. If sound quality is the priority and you are willing to go wired, these compete directly with flagship true wireless models. Build quality and design are another strong point. The shells feel solid and well finished, and the overall look is far more attractive than what you normally expect at this price. They have a clean, modern IEM aesthetic that looks intentional rather than cheap. Comfort is good for longer listening sessions once properly fitted, and the detachable cable adds longevity and flexibility that wireless buds simply cannot match. Customer Review: DRUMMER. Should say that first. I use these with a better wire, and noise isolation tips, but damn they are good. Great kick response, all the drums sound like FOH. All my band mates frequencies sit exactly where they should. Click and backing tracks sounds great too. I’ve had way more expensive, but not even comparable. The multi-drivers give a full range of all live sounds exactly like they should sound, not a muddled mess of lows and highs. And yes, vocals are pristine too, for the vocalists. I highly recommend them(with the alterations, it only adds $17 more).

Customer Review: I moved from wireless headphones to IEMS recently from a few friends that recommended these. As a musician that have used High end IEMS for performance and shows, I was very skeptical on the quality and the sound that would come from these. After reading the reviews I pulled the trigger on these and got them. Paired them with a cable extension to my Pc and I am absolutely surprised at how great these sound. For the price the drivers inside these IEMS really put out some work, the unit gives a great seal with the ear tips that were included inside the box. The cable is hassle free and durable. I am pleasantly surprised at how great these fit around my ears and the comfortability using them in long gaming sessions. Bass is great, highs and lows are really good as well, from playing music to video games, to editing videos, and much more these are definitely a great bang for your buck if your looking for good quality IEMS and good sound. These are definitely not on par with any professional IEMS that are used for specific professional purposes, but Id take these to a gig, or run them in practices if im not using them on a pc as a back up. !

My only criticism is that one of the pairs got to the point where the rubber piece kept coming off in my ear, and another pair eventually the left side quit working after a period of extended use. Customer Review: These are fantastic for their price point. I find in sound quality, they’re on par with JBL and the noise cancellation is better than most ANC products I’ve tried. They work well cancelling out sound even when sound isn’t playing. They fit really well in my ear even without the over the ear wire. The over the ear guards/bumpers don’t fit the best/stay on, however they don’t really need the bumpers from what I’ve found. They’re very comfortable in my ear. The wire is a standard length. I’d definitely recommend, especially at the price point.

Customer Review: I usually don’t write reviews but I needed too for this item. I purchased this as a in ear solution for my motorcycle helmet. It worked great with me Sena 10s. It’s an older bluetooth communicator for my helmet and these ear buds extended the life of it. Fit well within my Simpsons Modular helmet. Pro Tip you have to remove the helmet speakers to allow room for the ear buds. I just went on a 2k miles trip and not only did I hear my group clearly at 80mph, it provided enough hearing protection from the exhaust and road noise but enough passive sounds so it’s not dangerous… Great Value and Product!

I decided to give these a try and I’m so glad that I did. These ZS10 pros sound amazing. If you are looking for some good iem’s that have a great overall sound with plenty of bass, look no further. Customer Review: I bought 3 pairs of cheap IEMs to try out. Out of the three (these, a pair of KBEAR and Zero:2) the Zero:2 were by far the best. These were still pretty solid tho and I’ll be using them primarily for my Porto CD player. I would definitely recommend the zero2 over these but that’s just my biased take. These are still really comfortable and sound good. For the price it’s hard to complain
